Victim reported to deputy that on this date at approximately 3:30 pm a subject fired at and killed her dog. Animal Control Services assisted in the case and is currently under investigation.

Suspect: Paul Anthony Sanchez, age 30, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Child Abuse
On 10/23/13 deputies responded to 2801 Rodeo Road in reference of a child that was battered by an adult male. Contact was made with the mother who stated that the suspect was watching her children. The child had facial injuries to her nose and lip area. The child explained what happened. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: 2100 block of Camino Polvoso, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)
Victim: 54 year old male
On 10/23/13 deputies were dispatched to above location to assist Santa Fe County Fire Department in reference to an unconcious, unresponsive male. Upon arrival it was learned that the victim was unconcious, unresponsive and cold to the touch. OMI was contacted and took over investigation. It appears that no foul play was involved.

Location: 2600 block of Redwood, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)
On 10/23/2013 victim advised that she received checks from a company she was referred to after responding to an ad in the Thrifty Nickel. She then sent money through Western Union to a person in China, only to later learn that the checks were fraudulent. She was unable to get her money back. Victim was defrauded out of $1420.

Stolen: 1997 Red Ford Explorer, NM#LGR859, Sunroof, light tint on all windows.
Victim reported that at approximately 0930am her red in color Ford Explorer was taken from her driveway. The suspect in this case is believed to have had access to the vehicle keys inside the residence. Case is under investigation.

Location: 1100 block of Calle Nueva Vista, Santa Fe, NM (off of Rufina)
On 10/22/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 10/9/13 at 5:00 p.m. and 10/22/13 at 11:30 a.m. unknown persons entered his residence and stole 2 refridgerators, a washer and dryer, a stove and a microwave from within. Estimated value of items taken is $5,450.00. No damage was located.

On October 21, 2013, Deputy was dispatched to the the above location in reference to a residental burglary. Victim stated between 9:00am and 2:25pm unknow persons entered her residence through a window. Victim stated unknow persons stole misc. jewelry and an unknown amout of Mexican currency. Damge was reported to window blinds. Estimated value of stolen property is $3,705.00 and estimated damage amount $50.00.

Victim reported sometime between the hours of 11:30pm and 8:00 am unknown suspects Gained unauthorized entry into a disconnected semi trailer by cutting the pad locks of the lock. While inside the vehicle the above items were stolen.
The above listed item was valued at about $900.00
