0213013700 / DWI, Careless Driving / 09-01-13

Location: State Road 599 mile post 3

Arrested: Kory Calabaza, 24-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 09-01-2013 at about 7:30AM Deputies responded to a mogtor vehjicle crash on State Road 599 northbound near mile post 3.  Upon arrival contact was made with Mr. Calabaza who had rolled his vehicle, a 2001 Toyota Corolla.  He displayed signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving.  He was arrested and transported to Saint Vincent Hospital where a legal blood draw was conducted.  Results are pendingt.  He was then booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: Old Las Vegas Hwy, milepost 2 - Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Marta Mejia - age 60, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped at a DWI checkpoint at the above location and found to be impaired. The driver was placed under arrest at the scene.

0213013786 - Burglary - 9/2/13

Location: Cree Circle - Vista Primera, Santa Fe

Victim reported that sometime between 6:00pm and 7:20pm, on 9/2/13, someone entered her bedroom window and stole her purse. She and her daughter were home at the time but did not see the suspect(s) enter. Investigation is still ongoing.

  Victim stated that unkown suspects unlawfuly used his credit card to make a purchase in another state without his authorization. This case remains under investigation.

Location:  Santa Fe County Detention Center, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Max Quingtana, 30, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Suboxne

On Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 12:30 AM the suspect was found to be in possession of an orange in color plastic strip, suspected of being suboxone.  The suspect  had been in the Dentention Center for five days.

Victim reported to Deputy that on August 29, 2013 between the hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, unknown persons entered the home and stole the listed type of items. This case is currently under investigation.

Case#:0213013618/Auto Burglary, Larceny, Injuring or Tampering with Motor Vehicle/Date: 08-30-13

Stolen: Black and White leather purse, various credit cards, and NM driver license Total Estimated Value $60.00

Victim reports unknown person(s) gained unlawful forced entry into a 2009 Maroon Toyota Corolla.  Victim had parked the vehicle in the west parkng lot leaving the car for approximately 10 minutes.  When victim returned the vehicle had a broken and pried window frame.  The above items had been taken from within the vehicle.  Case still pending further investigation.

Suspect:  Renee Reyes, age 51, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery

On 8/29/13 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim stated that he was involved in an altercation with his mother and the suspect struck the victim in the nose.  Victim stated that the argument was over money.  Victim showed signs that he had a bloody nose.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0213013516/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 8/29/13

Location:  residence off of Blackberry Lane, Espanola, NM (Arroyo Seco)

On 8/29/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim and complainant stated that sometime between 8/21/13 at 10:30 a.m. and 8/29/13 at 9:00 a.m. unknown persons cut the chain to the front gate of the property.  Complainant stated that unknown persons had damaged the door to the garage and took a saw that was inside.  Estimated value of the item taken is $500.00.  Estimated damage amount is $165.00. 

0213013496, Battery Against a Household Member, 8/29/13

Location: Molino Viejo   Pojoaque

Suspect: Enrico Roybal  Age: 36  Pojoaque

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute and learned that the suspect had battered a Household Member causing minor pain and injury.  Suspect was booked into the Santa fe Detention Facility without incident.
