Case#: 0213014267/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 9/10/13

Location:  residence off of Meadow Hills Drive, Edgewood, NM

On 9/10/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 8:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence.  Victim stated that unknown persons took an Xbox 360, an LCD TV, and a laptop computer.  Estimated value of items taken is $700.00.  Damage to the window is estimated at $200.00.

Location:  Bonanza Creek Road mile marker 2, Santa Fe, NM (off of State Road 14)

Suspect:  Zion Archuleta, age 29, Taos, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Careless Driving, Driver must be licensed

On 9/10/13 deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a motor vehicle crash.  Deputies arrived on scene and observed the vehicle rolled over on its roof.  Contact was made with the suspect who admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to the crash.  Suspect showed signs of impairment.  Suspect refused to take SFST's.  Suspect was arrested.  Suspect was read the NM Implied Consent and submitted to a breath test.  Suspects BrAC results were .24, .22.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: 5000 block of Agua Fria (Lower Agua Fria area)

Stolen: Weed Blower, Hand Tools, Battery Charger, Compressor, Freezer, traffic cones, water hose

Victim reported that sometime between 09/09/2013 10:00am and 9/10/2013 at 8:30am some unknown person forced entry into the above business by forcing open the front door. The unknown suspects stole the above listed items.

The above listed item was valued at about $990.00

0213014240 Death Investigation 09/10/2013

Location: Santa Maria dr (Edgewood NM area)

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a death investigation. The victim (56 year old male) was found unresponsive and not breathing by family member. CPR was not conducted by paramedics. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

On 9/8/13 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a motor vehicle crash.  Deputies arrived on scene and the suspect was slumped over and incoherent.  Deputies were informed that the suspect had an odor of alcohol emitting from her breath.    Suspect admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages.  Suspect was placed under arrest and read the NM Implied Consent in which she refused to take the tests.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

0213014156 (Agg) DWI 9/9/13

Location: Cerrillos Rd @ Jaguar (Cerrillos Rd Area)

Arrested: Joseph Anaya 33 years old, Santa Fe NM

Deputy conducted a traffic stop at the above location with the suspect vehicle after it was reported driving the wrong direction on I-25. Drive displayed signs of impairment. SFST’s were conducted and the driver was placed under arrest for DWI. Suspect was arrested and charged with above charges, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: Coach purse

  On September 07, 2013 Victim reported that he observed a suspect enter his place of business anf take the above mentioned item. Victim stated the victim ran towards Calle Inez and dropped the purse. This case remains under investigation.

On 09-07-13 at about 11:00AM someone stole the above listed truck from the victim's driveway.

Suspect:  Bridgettlouise Wood, 47, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Careless Driving

On Friday, September 6, 2013 at 9:50 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle at the location at an excessive rate of speed.  Deputies were directing traffic at the location due to a previous motor vehicle crash.  The suspect almost struck one of the deputies who was directing traffic.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of prescription medication.  The suspect submitted to a Blood Test and the results of that test are pending.

Vehicle:  Silver, 2004, Nissan, 4 door

Suspect:  Ronald W. Atencio, 27, Roswell, NM

Charged:  ,Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Driving While License Suspended or

                   Revoked, No Seat Belt, Warrant - Failure to Pay Fines

On Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:43 the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the  location attempting to negotiate a left curve.  For reason(s) unknown the suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the  right side striking a guard rail.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Blood Alcohol Test.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico driver's license is suspended.  The suspect was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.  A check with the National Crime Information Center revealed that there was an active Arrest Warrant for suspect issued by the Eddy County Magistrate Court for Failure to Pay Fines
