Charged:  Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon

On 2/26/13 suspect went over to victim's residence to pick up money that victim owed him.  An argument ensued between the victim and the suspect.  The suspect picked up a garden hoe and struck victim with it.   Victim received injuries to his neck, shoulder and right index finger.  Suspect was located, arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

Victim reports sometime between the dates of December 29, 2012 at 5:30am and February 25, 2013 at 8:00pm unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the above location.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Once inside the above items were taken.  Value of items is pending.  Case still pending further.

SFSCSO Case # 02`13002781/ Larceny, Battery, and Criminal Damage to property/ 02-25-2013

Location: 3000 block of Camino Juliana SF, NM 87507

Stolen:20" Vizio Flat Screen TV, Unknown brand Laptop, Unknown brand external device, a wallet and an EBT card.

Victim advised on yesterday's date between 3:00am and 3:30am two unidentified males came to his residence, battered him, punched a hole in his wall, and while in the residence stole the above stated items. This case is currently under investigation.

The above charges were valued at about $755.00

Stolen:(2) headlamps, (2) parking lamps, and (1) 'Billet" grill from a Harley Davidson Edition F-150

Complainant advised between Friday February 22, 2013 at 5:00pm and Monday February 24, 2013 at 4:00pm unidentified person(s) gained unlawful entry into a locked gate, damaging it and stole the above items off a motor vehicle.

The above charges were valued at about $590.00

SFCSO Case #0213002770/ Unattended Death/ 02-25-2013

Location:  Cities of Gold Road- Cities of Gold Hotel

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (64 year old female) was found unresponsive by staff at the hotel. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but no signs of foul play were noted.

Case#: 0213002700/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 2/24/13

Location:  1100 block of Morning Drive, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)

On 2/24/13 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 2/23/13 at 2045 hours and 2/24/13 at 1215 hours unknown persons tampered with the roof to his convertible vehicle.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole a Dewalt drill, a phone charger, and miscellaneous prescription medication.  Estimated value of items taken is $220.00.  Estimated damage to the vehicle is $350.00.

Case# 0213002685 Aggravated DWI

Location:  Avenida Vista Grande at Avenide Del Monte Alto (El Dorado Sub-division)

                   Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Silver, 2013, Nissan,  SUV

Suspect:  Stacy L. Stark, 55, Houston, TX

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, Stop Sign Violation

On Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:42 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and failed to stop for a posted Stop Sign.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. When being taken into custody, the suspect actively resisted being handcuffed and reasonable force had to be used to overcome her resistance.  Neither the suspect or deputy were injured as a result of this incident.
