On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (48 year old male) was found unresponsive in his vehicle. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be of natural causes there were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Victim reported that sometime between 7:30am and 8:30am on this date some unknown person entered the residence by unknown means and stole the above listed items.

Suspect: James Payne Age: 33 Santa Fe
Deputies responded to a burglary where victim reported various jewelry and knives had been stolen. Deputies located one of two suspects, James Payne in the area and recovered the stolen property. Payne was arrested and booked for burglary and a warrant has been drafted for the second suspect.

Victim reports entry made into home trhrough unlocked door between 2/15/13 and 2/17/13 and a guitar as well as a laptop are reported missing. Case is under investigation.

Location: residence on Douglas Ave. Edgewood N.M.
On 02-17-2013 at about 9:00PM the victim observed an unknown male suspect in his late teens to early twenties inside the victims vehicle, which was parked in his driveway. The victim confronted the male who fled the area on foot. The only item reported to be stolen from the victims vehilce was a tire iron valued at $40.00.

Location: 100 block of Camino de los Abuelos, Santa Fe, NM (off of SR 14)
On 2/17/13 deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a larceny. Victim stated that between 2/16/13 at 1930 hours and today at 1330 hours unknown persons stole a solar panel and a control box from her fence area that opened her gate. Victim estimated the value to be about $5000.00.

Victim reported that sometime between 1/3/13 and this date some unknown subjects stole the above listed items from the victims vehicle. A 2007 Gold Cadillac Escalade. The Vehicle was locked, and parked inside his locked garage. There were no signs of forced entry into the garage or the vehicle.
The above listed item stolen were valued at about $150.00

Location: State Road 14, mile post 44
Arrested: Sergio Zuniga-Mendez, 30-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 02-17-2013 at about 1:00AM the above suspect drove off the roadway crashing through a fence while traveling southbound on State Road 14 near mile post 44. Upon contact with the driver he showed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test, which showed his breath alcohol concentration to be over twice the legal limit.

Location: Airport Road near Blakes Lota Burger.
Arrested: Luis Lozoya-Nata, 19-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 02-16-2013 at about 9:00PM a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Lozoya-Nata's vehicle after it crossed into another lane of travel almost striking a marked Sheriff's Office patrol unit while traveling east on Airport Road. Mr. Lozoya-Nata showed signs of impairmentand admitted to smoking "spice" prior to driving and failed the standardized field sobriety tests. He was arrested and several partially smoked hand rolled cigarettes containing a grean leafy substance suspected to be marijuana were located in the vehicle.
