On today's date, at 4:10 a.m. Deputes were dispatched to a pile of wood on fire at the above address. Victim advised he located half of a hand held torch in the middle of the intersection of Waldo Road and 3rd. The case is under investigation. Suspects are pending at this time.

0212006882, DWI, Possession of Marijuana(less than 1oz) 5/8/12

Location: Rancho Viejo Blvd / Bisbee Ct.

Suspect: Angel Lucero  Age: 20  Santa Fe

Angel Lucero was arrested for DWI and possession of Marijuana (less than 1 oz.) after she was stopped for a traffic lane violation and was found to be impaired.  Her B.A.C. was .13 and she was booked accordingly.

 

Case # 0212006840/ Aggravated Assault and Battery/ 05-07-2012

Location: Ash Street , Cottonwood Mobile Home Park. SF, NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in regards to the above stated charges. The victim reported that while trying to reposess a vehicle he was confronted by two (2) males. One male choked the victim and the other attempted to run the victim over  with the vehicle. The suspects left prior to Deputies arrival. This case is currently under investigation

Case #0212006850/ Robbery/ 05-07-2012

Location: Fairway Village Subdivision, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen:  Black wallet with $50.00 US Currency, a visa credit card, Home Depot Credit Card, and three (3) misc keys. 

Victim was battered at the above location on May 4, 2012 by three (3) to four (4) male individuals that were in a dark in color vehicle. Victim was "Jumped" for unknown reasons and does not know the suspects. Victim stated he recieved minor cuts to his face, hands, arms, and legs and the above items were stolen from his person during the commission of the battery. Case is currently under investigation.

Case#0212006761 / Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving / 05-05-2012

Location: State Road 14, Mile Marker 39

Arrested: James Hands, 63-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

    On 05-05-2012 at about 11:34PM Mr. Hands was observed driving a 2010 Ford truck on State Road 14, speeding and passing in a no passing zone.  A traffic stop was conducted and he was found to be under the influence of alcohol.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly. 

Case#0212006714 / Burglary, Larceny / 05-04-2012

Location: residence on Prairie Dog Loop

Items stolen: several name brand watches, jewelry and electronics

    On 05-04-2012 between the hours of 1:30PM and 10:00PM unknown suspects entered the victim's residence by unknown means.  They stole the above listed items from within the residence.  Further investigation led Deputies to a location where some of the victim's watches were recovered.  Suspect information was obatined and the investigation is ongoing.

Location: Airport Road area

Stolen/Recovered Vehicle: White in color 2009 Mitsubishi Galant valued at $12,000

 

On 05-06-2012 the vehicle owner reported her vehicle stolen.  Shortly after the vehicle was located near Jaguar Drive and South Meadows Road.  It had been involved in a motor vehicle crash.  No suspects were located.

Item Stolen: US Currency

Victim reported to Deputies that US Currency had been stolen from inside her vehicle. Victim informed Deputies the names of possible suspects. Case is still under investigation.

0212006740 Resisting, Evaded or Obstructing an Officer 5-5-12

Arrested: Henry Moreno

On 5-5-12 Deputies were investigation a violent domestic dispute and during the course of the investigation suspect Henry Moreno fled the scene on foot and was apprehended a short time later. He was found to have active warrants. He was arrested and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: N/A

Victim reported that on 5-4-12 between 9:00am and 7:30pm unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry into her by kicking in a front door. No items were reported taken or disturbed. Case is still under investigation.
