Case# 0212003589 Death Investigation

Location:  200 Block, Square H Road, Edgewood, NM

Victim:  Male, 74, Edgewood, NM

On Friday, March 9, 2012 at 9;58 AM deputies responded to a residence at the location due to an unresponsive male.  Upon arrival the victim was found to be deceased.  Cause of death appears to be from natural causes.  Foul play is not suspected.

Vehicle:  Black, 2003, Toyota, Pick - Up

Suspect:  Tisha Cheresposy, 25, Espanola, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Drivingg While License Suspended or

                  Revoked, No Seat Belt

On Friday, March 9, 2102 at 2:52 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location.  For reason(s) unknown the suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the west side and rolling over multiple times.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Blood Alcohol Test.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is suspended.  The driver's seat belt was locked in the retracted position indicating that it was not being worn at the time of the crash.  The suspect was treated at Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries and kept for observation.

On 03-09-12 above mentioned subject was arrested on a Arrest Warrant for the original charge of Battery Aganist A Household Member and was found to have a Bench Warrant out of Sandoval County for Failure to Appear on the  original charge of Revoked Drivers License.

Location:  residence off of North Paseo de Angel, Santa Fe, NM

On 3/8/12 deputy was dispatched to  a suspicious vehicle at the above location.  Victim stated that a male suspect had kicked in the front door.  Victim stated that he yelled and proceeded over to his neighbors.  Victim stated that suspect got into a vehicle and left the area.  Estimated damage to the front door is $200.00.  Nothing was taken from the residence.

Location: Cerro Del Alamo Santa Fe, New Mexico

Stolen: One (1) silver in color Phillips 32" Flatscreen Television

On Thursday March 8, 2012 between the hours of 12:00pm and 5:00pm, unkown person(s) gained forced entry into the above listed residence. While inside, the suspects stole the above stated property. The front door susatined damage as a result of the forced entry.

The cost of the television was estimated at $600.00 and the damage to the front door was estimated at $200.00

Location:  residence off of Silver Mesa Road, Santa Fe, NM

On the above date victim stated that an unidentified suspect called his house phone at about 1:43pm claiming to be his granson, Ben Myers, who was arrested in Cusco Peru. Suspect advised him that he would need $2550.00 in order to bail out of jail. Suspect advised victim to use Western Union located at 4350 Airport Road to send money. Suspect provided a phone number for Western Union and a direct line number. Victim was suspicious of the call and contacted his daughter who advised him that his granson is at home inTexas. Victim did not send any money.

 

Case#: 0212003559/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 03/08/12

Location:  residence off of Los Tapias Lane, Santa Fe, NM (off of Rabbit Road)

On 3/8/12 between 4:12pm and 4:38pm, two unidentified males dressed all in black, kicked in the front door to the above residence and stole a 40" flatscreen TV, a Wii gaming system, and a HP mini netbook.  Estimated value of items taken is $1750.00  Estimated damage amount is $500.00.

Case#: 0212003554/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 03/08/12

Location:  business off of Old Las Vegas Highway, Santa Fe, NM

On 3/8/12 deputy was dispatched in reference to a burglary. Victim stated his wife left the business at approximately 10:00am on today's date and returned on today's date at 4:30pm and observed the south facing front door to be kicked in.  Suspects kicked in the front door facing south causing $1,500 in damage, rifled through all the bedrooms and drawers, kicked in another bedroom door causing $200.00 in damage and took a slot machine with quarters.  Estimated value of items taken is $1050.00.

Suspect #1:  Anna Harron, age 26, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect#2:  Awn Sage, age 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Larceny, Criminal Trespass

On 3-8-12 deputies were dispatched to a larceny in progress at the above location. Victim located the suspects who had just taken several pieces of scrap metal from his property at Capitol Scrap Metal.  Victim confronted the suspects at Capitol Scrap as they were finishing unloading his property from their truck. Victim positively identified the items as being taken from an area on his property that is not accessible to customers or citizens.  Suspects were placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. Estimated value of items taken is $500.00.

 

Case # 0212003470/ Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle/ 03-07-2012

Location: Manzano Lane- SFC Eldorado Subdivision

Stolen: 1996 Buick Rivera Coupe, white in color

Victim reported that on 03-05-2012 at an unknown time was in the downtown area of Santa Fe  shopping. The victim came back and the vehicle was missing. The victim was not sure exactly were the vehicle was left. No records were found of the vehicle being towed.

The vehicle was entered into NCIC

The vehicle has a listed value of $1500
