2021007846/DUI Aggravated fleeing/10/16/2021

Deputy Assigned: M. Ward

Commander Entering: Cpl. R. Girmendonk

Location: NM14 and NM 599 southbound

Arrested: Alfonso Ornelas-Jimenez

Charges: Aggravated fleeing, Roadways laned for Traffic, DUI

Deputies were dispatched to a reckless driver southbound on NM 14. Once the vehicle was located, a traffic stop was attempted. The vehicle was observed swerving on numerous occasions. The above mentioned suspect did not stop for police vehicles and continued traveling south, finally coming to a stop after several miles.  An investigation showed the driver displaying indicators of impairment and was arrested. Suspect was medically cleared and booked at ADC in Santa Fe.

2021007851/Battery/10/16/2021

Location: Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Hector Garcia-Salas, Albuquerque, NM

Charges: Battery

Deputies were dispatched to the Adult Detention Facility in Santa Fe in reference to a battery. The victim advised that he was battered by the above mentioned suspect. Injuries to the victims body were observed and charges were filed.

Suspect: Albert Perea

Deputies responded to the above location for a single vehicle crash. During the investigation the suspect was found to be impaired. The suspect refused SFST's but agreed to chemical testing. The suspect was later booked into ADC without incident.

Suspect: Heather Seller

On the above date deputies responded to a crash. During the investigation the suspect was found to be impaired and later refused chemical testing. The suspect was booked into ADC without incident.

2021007835/Agg Fleeing from LE Officer/10/15/2021

ASSIGNED DEPUTY: Nicholas A. Lefleur

ENTERING COMMANDER: Cpl. Robert Girmendonk

LOCATION: Alarid Street Santa Fe, NM

SUSPECT: Ovidio Hernandez-Garcia 45 yo H/M, Santa Fe, NM resident

CHARGES: Aggravated Fleeing from a Law Enforcement Officer, Possession of a controlled substance

The above named suspect fled from Tesuque Tribal Police in a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit ended in the above mentioned location. Deputies were dispatched since the suspect was not a tribal member. Drugs were later found on the person of the suspect. 

2021007840/ AGG. DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, & ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC

LOCATION: S. MEADOWS ROAD AND AIRPORT ROAD, SANTA FE, NM

SUSPECT: RAMON TORREZ- AGUILAR, 22 YEAR OLD H/M, SANTA FE, NM RESIDENT

CHARGES: AGG. DWI, OPEN CONTAINER OF AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE, ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC AND DRIVER TO BE LICENSED.

DEPUTY DEPREZ CONDUCTED A TRAFFIC STOP FOR ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC. THE DRIVER WAS SLOW TO STOP AS HE PULLED INTO THE SPEEDWAY GAS STATION. THE DRIVER SHOWED SIGNS OF IMPAIRMENT UPON CONTACT. DEPUTY DEPREZ CONDUCTED A DWI INVESTIGATION, WHICH YIELDED AN ARREST OF RAMON TORREZ-AGUILAR. RAMON TORREZ- AGUILAR SUBMITTED TO CHEMICAL TEST, YIELDING TWO BREATH SAMPLES OF 0.17g/210L AND 0.17g/210L RESPECTFULLY. RAMON TORREZ-AGUILAR WAS BOOKED INTO THE SANTA FE COUNTY DETENTION CENTER WITHOUT INCIDNT.

2021007836, DWI, Tail lamps (license plate lamp), 10-15-2021

Location: South Meadows/ Airport Rd

Arrested: Alfonso De La Cruz Cordova  54 yoa Santa Fe, NM

Subject was stopped of no lamps on license plate.  During the traffic stop, driver admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage. SFST's were administered and showed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and agreed to a chemical test. Subject blew a .14 and .13 BRac. Subject charged and booked accordingly.

2021007833, Agg. DWI/Open container/Speeding,10-15-2021

Location: NM 599/ Via Veteranos

Arrested: Jazmin Ramirez  25 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Driver was stopped for speeding.  Upon contact, open containers were found in the vehicle.  Driver did admit to consuming alcoholic beverages.  SFST's were administered and she showed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and agreed to a chemical test.  Subject blew a .19, .20 Brac.  Subject charged and booked accordingly.

2021007831, Possession of controlled substance/Service of documents,10-15-2021

Location: Boneyard and Camino Arroyo Seco, Espanola, NM

Arrested: Sonja Rodriguez-Hinz  33  yoa   Espanola, NM

Deputies responded to above location in reference to an illegal dumping.  Above subject was found to have an active warrant and was arrested.  During search incident to arrest, subject was found in possession of a controlled substance.  Subject was charged and booked accordingly.

2021007807/Driving while license revoked/ 10/14/21

Location: 5147 Airport

Suspect: Cynthia Garcia

On the above date the suspect's vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. Through an NCIC check the suspect's license was revoked with the arrest clause (122G) attached. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail without incident.
