CASE 0211008877 / AGGRAVATED DWI, ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC / 06-25-2011

LOCATION:  EAST FONTAGE ROAD & YSIDRO ROAD, LA PUBLA AREA

ARRESTED:  MILNOR BRANCH, 37 YOA MALE LAMESILLA AREA

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI AND ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC

SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED FAILING TO MAINTAIN HIS LANE OF THE ROADWAY ON HIGHWAY 84-285.  DEPUTY STOPPED VEHICLE AND FOUND THE DRIVE IMPAIRED.  DRIVER SUBMITTED TO A BREATH TEST WHICH SHOWED HIM TO HAVE A .20 BrAC.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.

Vehicle:  Red, 2000, Pontiac, 4 door

Suspect:  Daniel Sigala, 28, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Reckless Driving, Open Container

On June 24, 2011 at 2:36 AM the suspect was involved in a Motor Vehicle Crash at a residence at the location.  For reason(s) unknown the suspect failed to observe a parked vehicle and struck it.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and a Blood Alcohol Test was administered.  The results of that test are pending.  There was also an open can of beer in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Suspect: Pending

Victim reported that a Bank Fraud Division employee contacted her in regards to unauthorized transactions against her account.  The transactions were at on-line retailers with the amount below 20.00 with the bank catching and reimbursing the funds.  Case is under investigation. 

0211008785 Residential Burglary, Larceny June 23rd 2011

Deputy assigned: Anna Biondo

Location: 192 Square “H” Road Edgewood New Mexico

Stolen: One black in color Trek Mountain bike and one set of keys.

On the above date victim reported unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry to the above stated address. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items from the garage by gaining entry through a doggy door. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 500.00

 

Case#0211008766 / Burglary(residential), Larceny / 06/22/2011

Location: Residence off Camino De Roberto, (Santa Cruz Housing)

Items Stolen: Clothing valued at $70.00

On June 22nd victim reported on June 19th 2011 in the late afternoon victim came home and found a female suspect sleeping on the victim's couch.  Suspect apparently entered the residence throguh a kitchen window.  Victim reported the suspect took some of the victim's clothing.   The investigation is ongoing. 

Case#0211008751 / Bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment / 06/22/2011

Location: Santa Fe County Jail, 28 Camino Justicia

Suspect: Melissa Roybal, 21 year old female from El Rancho

On 06/22/2011 Santa Fe County Jail staff found Melissa Roybal passing an oxycodone pill under a visitation door.  The pill was intended for an inmate but was intercepted by jail staff.  Melissa Roybal was arrested and booked accordingly.   

0211008739, DWI, Stop Sign Violation, 6-22-11

Location: Camino Entrada/Airport Road  (Airport Road area)

Arrested: Erik Frank, Age:22, Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputy observed above listed suspect/driver fail to stop at the intersection of Camino Entrada and Airport Road.  Deputy conducted a traffic stop and observed the above suspect to show signs of impairment.  Deputy conducted several tests and determined the above suspect was impaired.  Deputy placed above suspect under arrest and booked him accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center. 

CASE 0211008730 / DWI, PROOF OF INSURANCE, FAILURE TO DIM HEAD LIGHTS / 06-21-2011

LOCATION:  WEST FRONTAGE ROAD AND LAS GOLONDRINAS, LA CIENEGA AREA

ARRESTED: OLEN L. DEGRUYTER, 25 YOA MALE, ALBUQUERQUE AREA

CHARGES:  DWI, PROOF OF INSURANCE, FAILURE TO DIM HEAD LIGHTS

On this date at above listed location suspect was stopped for failing to dim his headlights Aas he was south bound on West Frontage Road. A traffic stop was conducted. suspect was found to be intoxicated and was not able to show proof of insuance. suspoect was arrested on above charges and agreed to a blood test. suspect was transported to the adult detention center and booked.  Suspects vehicle was impounded and his freinds were released.

Suspect: pending

Victim reported that sometime within the last two months an unknown suspect(s) stole the above vehicles from the rear of his property.  Victim provided ownership and is unaware of who may have taken the property.  Case is under investigation, vehicles entered into NCIC

0211008686 Larceny over $1000.00 June 21 2011

Location: 1047 Camino Vista Aurora Santa Fe, New Mexico (Rufina and Lopez Ln)

Stolen: 3x3 Cast Iron Cauldron used for landscaping

Between June 20th at approximately 6:30 pm, and June 21st 2011 at approximately 8:00 am someone took the above stated item front the front yard of the above stated location. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at under $1,000.00
