ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, DEPUTIES WERE SENT DUE TO A LARGE FIGHT IN PROGRESS.  WHEN DEPUTIES ARRIVED SUSPECT WAS FOUND TRYING TO LEAVE THE AREA.  SUSPECT WAS STOPPED DUE TO NOT WEARING A SEATBELT AND HIS PASSENGER WAS BLEEDING.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE IMPAIRED AND IN POSSESSION OF LAOADED FIREARM.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND INVESTIGATION SHOWED WHERE HE HAD THREE OTHER DWI ACTIONS ON HIS HISTORY.  SUSPECTS VEHICLE WAS SEIZED BY SHERIFF'S OFFICE.

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery at the listed location. Victim claimed suspect struck him in the face several times causing him to sustain injuries. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

Victim reported a male individual came to her home looking for her grandson.  The male asked for a glass of water. She gave him a glass of water and he left the residence.  After he left she noticed her wallet was missing from where she had placed it near the front door.  The investigation is ongoing.

Deputy conducted traffic stop with suspect for traffic lane violation.  Suspect was found to be impaired and arrested for Aggravated DWI having a B.A.C. of .19 / .21.  Suspect has prior convictions for DWI with a Revoked Driver's Licence. His vehicle was seized pusuant to the Santa Fe County Vehicle Seizure Ordianace.

CASE 0211008409 / AGGRAVATED DWI -FAILURE TO STOP & PROOF OF INSURANCE / 06-16-2011

LOCATION: AGUA FRIA AND LOPEZ LANE, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  JUAN SANDOVAL, 54 YOA MALE, SANTA FE

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI - FAILURE TO STOP & PROOF OF INSURANCE

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED WEST BOPUND ON AGUA FRIA AND FAILED TO STOP AT POSTED STOP SIGN.  DEPUTY J. PACHECO STOPPED VEHICLE AND FOUND THE DRIVER TO HAVE BEEN DRINKING.  DWI OFFICER, DEPUTY L. MARTINEZ WAS ASKED AND TAKE OVER TRAFFIC STOP AND THE DWI INVESTIGATION.  AFTER COMPLETEING INVESTIGATION DEPUTY MARTINEZ ARRESTED SUSPECT AND SUSPECT REFUSED BREATH TESTING.  SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED ON THE ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND BOOKED IN THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER.  HIS VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED. 

Case#0211008391 / Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, Criminal damage to property / 06/15/2011

Location: residence off Camino Pinon, Eldorado area

Stolen Vehicle: unknown make, model, year motor home and unknown make model or year motorcycle with a side car

Value: unknown

Between late February 2011, when the owner of the vehicles passed away and June 6th 2011 unknown suspect stole the above mentioned vehicles from private property located off Camino Pinion.  The suspect also broke a window on a 1963 Chevrolet truck parked on the property.  The broken window was valued at $300.00.

Location: residence off of Senda Corvo, Santa Fe N.M.

Victim: 25-year-old male from santa Fe N.M.

On 06/15/2011 the Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on Senda Corvo  in reference to an unresponsive 25-year-old male.  Upon arrival the male was found to be deceased.  There were  no signs of foul play.  Criminal Investigations responded to scene and took over investigation.  OMI was called to scene.

Items stolen: Black leather wallet with cash, drivers license, personal check and credit card

Value: $450.00

Victim reported they parked their vehicle at the Chumi Gallery in Madrid for a very short period of time and left the vehicle unlocked and their wallet inside.  When the victim returned to their vehicle the wallet was missing.

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center

Suspect: Joe Martinez 29-year-old male from Chimayo New Mexcio

On 06/15/2011 Jail staff was conducting a pat down on inmate Joe Martinez and located two plastic bags containing suspected cocaine in his waist band.  One of the plastic bags contained several indiividually wrapped smaller bags of suspected cocaine.  The substance was field tested and showed positive results for cocaine.  Mr. Martinez was charged and booked according.
