On 5/6/11 deputy was dispatched to above address. Upon meeting with victim, he stated that on 5/3/11 his shed door was damaged. He stated that he noticed this date the handle to the shed had been tampered with and observed that his Craftsman air compressor and Craftsman 16" chainsaw missing. Estimated value of items taken is $750.00. No further damage was done.

Suspect: John Mayo, age 48, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving
On 5/6/11 driver was observed and stopped by an off duty Los Alamos Police Officer operating a motor vehicle at the above location. Driver admitted to consuming narcotic prescription medication. Driver was arrested for DWI and Careless Driving. Driver had flat tires while operating a motor vehicle. Driver was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for a blood draw. Driver was then transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Deceased: 24yo male, Santa Fe
Victim was located within his vehicle at the Rabbit Road Trail head off of Rabbit Road and St. Francis. Victim was unresponsive to medical personnel and OMI was contacted. No suspicious activity, case is under investigation.

Suspect: Jose Rosetta Age: 28 Santo Domingo Pueblo
Jose Rosetta was arrested for Leaving the scene of a crash on I-25 involving minor injury to the other driver and passenger. He was located parked on State Road 16 about 1 mile west of I-25. He was subsequently charged with Careless Driving, Suspended license and No insurance. Alcohol was not a contributing factor. Rosetta was fatigued from working the night shift prior to the crash.

Victim reports home entered by force through front door and various tools including electric drills, saws and other hand tools reported missing. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Shayna Catanach, Age:21, Santa Fe New Mexico
Above listed suspect was stopped while operating a motor vehicle with faulty equipment. Deputy observed signs of impairment from the above suspect. Deputy conducted several tests and determined above suspect was impaired. Deputy arrested above suspect and booked her into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

A suspect was seen running from a residence. An attempt was made to gain entry into the residence through a back door but was unsuccessful. The suspect forced an unknown instrument between the door and frame and tried to force it open damaging the door. Case is under investigation.

Damaged: 100 feet of barbed wire fence with cedar posts
The above stated items were damaged “between” October of 2010 and today at the above stated location. It appeared that the suspects(s) folded and removed the fence to gain access to a neighboring property. The neighbors were interviewed and stated that the fence was damged by a person that they knew, but is no longer in the area. They agreed to help fix the fence.
The above listed items were valued at about $ 2500.00

Victim reported that between April 22, 2011 and May 6th 2011 someone broke the driver side mirror window and gained unauthorized entry into his 1988 Jeep pickup. Suspect(s) unlawfully removed the above stated items from said vehicle. Suspects are pending further investigation.
The above items stolen were valued at about $290.00

Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a larceny. Victim stated that on this date sometime between 5/5/11 8:00am and 3:40pm some unknown person stole the above listed items from the victim’s residence as the residence was being packed up for a move.
The above listed stolen items were valued at about $1235.00
