Arrested: Melanie Maiz 28 year old Female, Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputies conduct a traffic stop on the above suspect / vehicle. The suspect driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and a .22 caliber handgun. The above suspect was a convicted felon. The above driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.
 

0211006213, DUI, Reckless Driving, 5-6-2011

Location: Rufina/South Meadows

Arrested: Dakota Hunt

Above listed suspect was stopped driving a motor vehicle at a high rate of speed.  Deputy made contact with above suspect and observed signs of impairment.  Deputy conducted several tests and determined suspect was impaired. Deputy placed suspect under arrest and was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center after submitting to a blood test. 

 

0211006205, Disorderly Conduct, 5-5-2011

Location: Airport Road

Arrested: Thomas Montoya, Age:31, Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputies were dispatched to an assistance call involving an intoxicated male, the above listed suspect.  The suspect was transported to a family members residence so he could sober up.  Deputies were called out a second time because the above listed suspect was yelling at his family and banging on doors at the residence.  Deputy then placed suspect under arrest and booked him accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

0211006160 (Burglary, Larceny 05-05-11)

Location: 1129 Calle Nueva Vista, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Ryobi battery charger, 1 gallon Campbell air compressor, 1 Workforce table saw, 1- 18 volt Ryobi Drill, 2 Ryobi rechargeable batteries

The above stated items were stolen between 12:00 pm on April 30th 2011 and 2:00 pm on May 4th 2011 at the above stated location. Entry was made through a locked shed door, which was only accessed with a key. There was no damage to the lock , the door or the shed itself. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 950.00

On above date Deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a missing person. The reporting party wanted to report that her son Aireyon Pero ran away from home.

Aireyon Pero 16yoa,Male, 6'1" tall,160lbs, brown hair Haz eyes)**
Last seen: (on 5/4/11 1:00am at home, wearing black jacket, black jeans, wht/blk DBS shoes) He was entered into NCIC and the Missing Persons Clearinghouse.
 

0211006125 (Burglary, Larceny 05-04-11

Location: #28 Bisbee Court #7-B Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: 1 ¾ plasma cutter, 1 Millermatie welder, 1 Stihl chain saw, 1 green chain saw, 1 Bosh hammer drill, 1 Dewalt import wrench, and 1 12’’Skill beam saw

The above stated items were stolen between April 4tth 2011 and May 4th 2011 at the above stated location. There were no signs of forced entry, suspects are pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 4,550.00

 

0211006147, Burglary/Criminal Damage to Property, 05-04-2011

Stolen: Stack-able washer/dryer ($300)

Suspect: Under Investigation

Victim reported that prior tenants to the residence gained entry into the residence.  Once inside the suspect(s) kicked several walls into the residence and took the stack-able washer/dryer.  Case is under investigation at this time. 

CASE 0211006138 / BATTERY AGAINST A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER / 05-04-2011

LOCATION:  100 BLOCK OF WEST COCHITI, TURQUOISE TRAIL AREA

ARRESTED:  ROBIN VANZELSTIT, 20YOA FEMALE SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  BATTERY AGAINST A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION VICTIM REPORTED THAT HIS GIRLFREIND HAD HIT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD AND FACE AND SCRATCHED HIM DURING AN ARGUMENT.  THE SUSPECT THEN LEFT THE HOUSE.  SUSPECT WAS LOCATED AT A PARK IN SANTA FE AND WAS ARRESTED WITH OUT INCIDENT AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.

CHARGES:  RECKLESS DRIVING

ON THIS DATE SUS[PECT WAS OBSERVED RIDING HIS 2008 YAMAHA 4-WHEELER, JUMPING THE BANKS OF THE RIVER AREA IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE AND LANDING ON THE SHOULDER OF THE ROADWAY.  SUSPERCT THEN PICKED UP A FEMALE AND JUMPED THE BANKS AGAIN, WHEN HE WAS STOPPED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTIODY FOR RECKLESS DRIVING WITH OUT INCIDENT.  THE 4-WHEELER WAS IMPOUNDED.

The above stated items were stolen between April 29th 2011 and May 3rd 2011. From a red in color Toyota 4 runner which was parked at the above stated address. Suspects are pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $1650
