The above listed stolen items were valued at about $2180.00

Vehicle was stopped after Deputies received a call of a possible impaired driver. Deputy observed vehicle during traffic violations and initiated a traffic stop. During contact Deputy noticed signs of impairment and arrested driver. Driver submitted to a legal blood draw.

Deputies observed vehicle make wide turn as driver was making turn from Airport Rd onto San Felipe. Deputy stated he noticed that vehicle crossed center divide lane and initiated a traffic stop. Deputy contacted the driver and noticed signs of impairment. Deputy after investigation arrested driver. Driver submitted to chemical testing, results were .15 / .15

ARRESTED: MANUEL JUANITO TORRES, 28 YOA MALE, SANTA FE
CHARGES: SUSPENDED REVOKED LICENSE, PROOF OF INSURENCE AND IMPROPER USE OF REGISTRATION
ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, SUSPECT WAS STOPPED SOUTH BOUND STATE ROAD 14, DUE TO EXPIRED REGISTRATION. INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE SUSPECT WAS DRIVING ON A REVOKED LICENSE DUE TO A DWI CONVICTION AND NO INSURANCE AND IMPROPER USE OF REGISTRATION. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED. THE VEHICLE WAS SEIZED BY THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE.

Suspect: James Monteiro, age 55, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Battery on a HHM, Criminal Damage to Property of a HHM, Interference with Communcations
On 4/3/11 victim stated that suspect began to argue with her. Victim stated that suspect began to throw the children's toys and break them. When victim called 911 suspect took the cell phone and broke it. Suspect then took victim's keys breaking them so victim could not use the vehicle. Suspect hit the victim in the back leaving a red swollen mark and also struck victim in the right thigh. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: residence off of Magpie Road, Glorieta, NM (off of Old Denver Highway)
On 4/2/11 victim came home to find her residence had been broken into through a broken bedroom window. Victim stated that unknown persons took misc. clothes, a Sony 24" flatscreen TV, and 3 gold rings. Victim stated that it is unknown if anything else was taken. Victim stated that the bedroom window, a door and a Dell Laptop computer were damaged. Estimated value of items taken is $525.00. Estimated damage amount is $650.00. Victim stated that the burglary may have occurred between 3/25/11 at 1800 hours and 3/27/11 at 1900hours.

Location: residence off of Peacock Alley, Santa Fe, NM (Rancho Viejo)
On 4/2/11, Deputy was dispatched to the Paseo del Sol Apartments to meet with the victim. Victim stated that he was renting a room at the above location on Peacock Alley. Victim stated that he was incarcerated at the jail and the landlord had his items removed from the residence and had him evicted. Victim stated that he is missing several items such as a Bolivia watch, Imperial Armani watch, costume watches, misc. clothes, misc. prescription medication, and $1500.00 in cash. Estimated value of items missing is $5950.00. Victim stated that he was not evicted properly.

Suspect. David Rivera, 19 years old, Santa Fe N.M.
On 04/02/2011 suspect and his girlfriend were involved in an argument. Suspect battered his girlfriend. Deputies responded and found suspect to be in possession of a small amount of heroin. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Victim reported to Deputies that her husband had punched her in the face and in the arm after wanting to go home from a night out. Victim did sustain visible injuries. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail.
