Victim reported to Deputy seeing two male suspects running from the east side of his residence and down an arroyo as he arrived home.  Victim stated after further investigation he discovered a window to his residence was open, and the window screen was removed.  Victim stated no items were stolen.  Deputy, after further investigation observed no signs of the suspects making entry into the residence.  Case is under investigation.

Location: 7000 block Old Santa Fe Trail

    On 04/06/2011 victim arrived home and found unknown person(s) forced open the rear door of the victim's residence and stole misc. jewelry and money from within their home.

Stolen: Credit cards opened fraudulently

On April 4th 2011 a victim received two bills in the mail from two different commercial companies. The victim denies making any purchases from said companies. The bills indicate a female name out of Long Beach California conducted the purchases. After a brief investigation it was determined that the authorities in Long Beach California are investigating a current case on the suspect. The Santa Fe Sheriff’s Department will assist in the ongoing investigation.

Suspect/Arrested: Luis Molina (DOB: 10-29-1985) NP 101/107 Nambe, NM

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011 the above subject was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on two outstanding warrants for failure to comply and failure to appear in Magistrate Court. 

CASE 0211004694 / LARCENY / 04-05-2011

LOCATION:  100 BLOCK OF AVENIDA TORREON, ELDORADO AREA

ITEMS STOLEN:  3 NEO 2 LEARING KEYBOARDS, 20 PACKS OF GUM VALUED OF $2,420.00.

ON THIS DATE VICTIM REPORTED SOMEONE HAD STOLEN THE ABOVE LISTED ITEMS BETWEEN 1500 HOURS AND 1600 HOURS ON THE 4TH, OF APRIL FROM HER CLASSROOM.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS TIME.

Location: State Road 503 #135 (Nambe NM)

Stolen: 24 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, DVD/VHS player, MAC Lap Top computer, 2 MAC Lap Top cords, Misc Jewelry

On March 25th 2011 from 5:04 pm to 5:08 pm two unknown individuals entered the guest house at the above stated location and removed the above stated items. Latent finger prints were lifted at the scene and were submitted into the Department Of Public Safety Crime Lab for analysis. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 4,010.00

Location: Agua Fria School Zone (Agua Fria and Camino Capitan)

Arrested: Antonio Medina 28 years old, Santa Fe NM

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the suspect driver at the above listed location. Upon contact with the driver several signs of impairment were seen. Driver was given standard field sobriety test in which he displayed several signs of impairment. The Driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center for Aggravate DWI without incident.

Location: 3950 Quail View Lane (West Alameda area)
Stolen: 4,000.00

On March 23rd 2011 a male victim received a telephone call advising him that he was a winner of $500,000.00. The caller advised the victim to send $1,500.00 via western union to Fort Lauderdale Florida. The sum was for and insurance fee to process the transaction. The victim sent the money the following day. The money was never transferred. The scam was repeated two more times for a total of $4,000.00 Suspects are pending further investigation.

Stolen: 5 Nambe wear items, Blueray Player, Grandfather Clock

Victim reported that sometime between 8:00am and 1:00pm on 4/4/11 some unknown person(s) gained entry by forcing open a garage door, and stole the above listed items.
The above listed stolen items were valued at about $1065.00
 

0211004651, DWI, 4-4-2011

Location: US 84/285 Mile Marker 176

Arrested: Michael Lopez, Age:60 Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputy responded to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police on a traffic stop, and made contact with above listed suspect.  Deputy observed signs of impairment, and conducted tests on above listed suspect.  Deputy determined above listed suspect was impaired and arrested above listed suspect accordingly.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.
