Victim:  Pauline Plesher, 83, Ssanta Fe, NM

On 7-18-2010 at (;45 PM Santa Fe County Fire Department responded to a report of an unresponsive femal.  Upon their arrival CPR was being conducted.  EMS personnel administered Advanced  Live Support measures to no avail.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  There were no signs of foul play.

Case# 0210005900 Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member

Victim:  Frank Germano, 63, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Ann Germano, 57, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Assault Agaainst a Household Member, Negligent Use of a

                   Firearm

On 7-18-2010 at 8:28 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect armed herself with a .357 caliber revolver.  The victim locked himself in an office and the suspect discharged two rounds from the revolver into and through the office door.  The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor at the timed of the incident.

Location:  3494 Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM (San Isidro Church)

On 7/18/10 between 1730 and 1830 hours some unknown persons broke the driver front door window to their 2003 white Honda and stole a pink wallet which had 3 credit cards and 2 ID's.  Unknown persons also took a cell phone.  Estimated value of items taken is about $110.00.  Estimated damage amount is pending.

Suspects: Pending

Victim reported that on July 14, 2010 she had hired a house sitter to watch her residence.  She was contacted by the house sitter and advised that she had invited some friends to the residence and later discovered some property missing.  Victim advised that she delayed contacting law enforcement in hopes the house sitters friends would return the stolen property.  Taken were two I-Pods, $100.00 cash and two gift cards totaling an estimated value of $600.00.

Stolen: I Pod, IPod Docking, 45. Caliber handgun, misc tools and misc. jewelry, $3,000 value.

No Suspect Information

Victim reported that his home was entered through the living room sliding door way that was forced open. Once inside the unknown suspects took the above items.

Sometime between July 15, 2010 and July 17, 2010 an unknown person took $8,200.00 from a residence at the above location.  Victim suspects that a person hired to do some work at the residence took the money as there were no signs of force entry to the residence and nothing else in the residence was disturbed.  No suspect information is available at this time.

Sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on 07-17-2010 an unknown person(s) attempted to enter a vehicle at the above location by prying on the drivers side door and causing approximately $200.00 in damage.  No suspect information is available.

Victim reported that between June 11, 2010 and July 16, 2010 an unknown person made 35 unauthorized transaction on her Visa debit/credit card.  These transactions were made on the internet to various locations totaling $1,109.81.  No suspect information is available at this time.

Victim:  Antonio Rascon, 32, Santa Fe,  NM

Between 3:00 PM on 7-17-2010 and 1:00 AM on 7-18-2010 person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by breaking a window on the rear door.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed two plasma, flat screen TVs, miscellaneous  pieces of jewelry and approximately forty bottles of various brands of liquor.  Estimated value of the property taken is $2,500.00.

On 7-17-2010 at 9:23 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect struck the victim in the face with an open hand and in the chest with a closed fist.
