Case# 0210005988 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Location:  Aguq Fria Park, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Blue, 2000, Lincoln, SUV

Suspect:  Crystal Archuleta, 26, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

On 7-21-2010 at 2:12 AM the vehicle was observed parked at the location at a time when such activity is prohibited.   The suspect was found to be  in possession of two marijuana smoking devices, digital scales and several hypodermic needles.  The suspect also showed signs og having recently injecting IV drugs but no controlled substances were located.

Case# 0210005987 Burglary (Commercial)

Location:  Ramirez Thomas Elementary School (Rufina Street)

On 7-21-2010 at 12:09 AM ASI Security advised of a Burglary in Progress at the location.  Two unidentified males had entered the location through an open window.  Once entry was gained the two unidentified males ransacked several offices and classrooms.  One interior door and two exterior junction boxes were also damaged.  Nothing appearred to have been taken per the principle.

Case# 0210005981 Identity Theft

Location:   US Hwy 84/285, Mile Marker 183

Vehicle:   Blue, 1996, Ford, Pick-up

Suspect:  Brother of Victim, 30, Espanola, NM

Victim:  Male, 30, Hernandez, NM

On 5-21-2010 at 1045 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location at 72 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone.  During the traffic stop the suspect utilized the victim's identity and forged the victim's signature on several traffic citations.

Sometime between July 17, 2010 and July 19, 2010 an unknown person unlawfully entered into a storage room which is attached to his residence.  Victim advised that the suspect(s) entered through an exterior door that was secured with a bungee cord and stole several power tools valued at $1,500.   No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

Location:  Elk Horn Road and Gunnison Road (Riverside Mobile Home Park),

                   Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Green, 1991, Ford, Pick-up

Suspect:  Agapito Valles-Aviles, 48, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Obedience to Police Officer, Open Container

On 7-19-2010 at 8:07 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location when he was stopped as the vehicle matched the  description of a possible burglary suspect.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  The was an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.  The vehicle was siezed in accordance with the Santa Fe County DWI Vehicle Forfieture Ordinance.

On 7-19-2010 between 2:30 PM and 3:46 PM, person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means, forcibly gained entry to a residence At the location through the front door.   Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed HD, flat screen TVs, a Wii game system and an empty gun safe.

On 7-19-2010, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a resideence at the location by forcing entry through the front door.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed $1,000.00 in currency, miscellaneous items of clothing and a plasma, flatscreen TV..

Charged:   Receiving Stolen Property

On 7-19-2010 person(s) unknown unlawfully entered a residence at the location which was unsecure.  Once entry was gained person(s) unknown removed two laptop computers.  Person(s) unknown transferred  one of the laptops to the suspect in exchange for property that he had sold them.

0210005941, Death Investigation, 7/19/10

Deputy Assigned: J. David

Commander Entering: Lt. M. Post

Location: Mercedes Ct.  Cuyamunge NM

Deputies responded to a medical call regarding a 76 yr old male unconcious and not breathing.  Upon arrival Medical personnel were unable to revive the male who had been suffering from lung cancer.  Case is under investigation and no foul play is suspected.
