Location:  residence off of Blue Moon Court, Espanola, NM

On 11/23/09 victim's neighbor reported seeing a vehicle with a small 15' trailer backed up to the victim's residence and two hispanic males removing items from the shed.  No forced entry was found.  Witness contacted victim and victim did not recognize vehicle.  Victim stated that several items were taken but needed to take an itemized inventory.  Estimated value of items taken is pending.

Case #: 0209010233/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 11/23/09

Location:  7500 block of Snow Blossom, Santa Fe, NM (Vista Primera Subdivision)

On 11/23/09 victim reported that incident occurred between 1130 and 1400 hours.  He stated that unknown suspects gained entry by kicking in the front door.  Victim stated that suspects took a Mitsubishi 52" LCD flatscreen TV from within.  Estimated value is $4000.00 and damage amount is about $1000.00.

0209010244 Aggravted DWI/Roadways Laned for Traffic 11-23-09

Deputy Assigned: Marvyn Jaramillo

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: State Rd. 599 mm2 SFNM

Arrested: John Hill 38yoa

On the above date, defendant was observed parked in the passing lane of the above location.  Upon conducting a traffic stop, officer noted a strong odor of alcohol.  Driver admitted to drinking and failed field tests.  Driver then refused to submit to a breath tests and was charged aggravted DWI.  He was transported and booked at the adult detention center.  For further information, refer to officer's report.

Suspect: Pending

On 11-23-09 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM someone gained unlawful entry to the victim's shed and stole some gardening tools.

0209010223 Abandonment Or Abuse Of A Child 11-23-09

 On 11-23-09 CYFD requested assistance with a possible child abuse case at the above location. A home visit was conducted and found to be unsuitable living conditions. The parent was given a chance to clean up the residence and the case is under investigation.

On teh above date, the above named officer was dispatdhed to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center regarding an Inmate that had returned with an active arrest warrant.  Officer arrived and rebooked the defendant on the new Warrant.

Case #: 0209010207/ Aggravated DWI, Driver must be licensed, Immediate Notice of accidents/ Date: 11/22/09

Location:  SR 599 and I-25, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Bernardino Salinas-Tarango, age 34, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Driver to be licensed, Immediate notice of accident

On 11/22/09 vehicle was observed on shoulder of road.  Upon spotlighting vehicle for a welfare check.  Suspect exited from driver's door.  Upon contact with suspect he had red watery eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath.  SFST's were administered and driver was arrested for DWI.  A check of the area  revealed suspect hit a Chevron sign on the East Frontage Road and failed to report it.  Suspect was advised of the NM Implied Consent and refused to submit to testing.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention center.

Case #: 0209010195/ Breaking and Entering/ Date: 11/21/09

Location:  residence off of Rabbit Run, Santa Fe, NM

On 11/21/09 a witness observed a blue in color Dodge Ram 1500  drive into the driveway of the residence that is for sale.  Witness stated she approached the home to find 2 hispanic males inside.  Witness told suspects to leave if they were not with a realtor.  Witness stated that she obtained vehicle information and called law enforcement.  No items were taken and no damage to the home.  Deputies attempted to locate suspects to no avail.

Location:  63 Camino de Jacobo, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Housing)

Victim reported that unknown persons put sugar in the gas tank to her vehicle.  Victim said the persons had to have damaged her vehicle sometime between 11/21/09 at 1700 hours and 11/22/09 at 1100 hours.  Victim estimates damage amount at being $4000.00 and does not have any suspects information at this time.
