Stolen: Laptop Computer, Television, Digital Camera, Nintendo game system, portable MP3 player

 Value: $2,630

Sometime between 12:00pm and 4:00pm, an unidentified person(s) gained entry into the victims residence. Entry was gained by breaking the screen to the northeast bedroom window. Once inside the suspects stole the above items. Suspects are pending in this incident.

0209008274/ Unlawful taking of a Motor Vehicle/ 09-15-09

Stolen: 97 Ford F150, Maroon in color

value:$7,000

On 09-15-09 the victim reported that he left his vehicle at the above locaion. Upon returning back to the location his vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.

Case# 0209008250 Motor Vehicle Crash (Fatality)

Location:  State Road 599 at Via Veteranos, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle #1:  Red, 2001, Dodge, Mini-Van

Vehicle #2:  White, 2009, H-D, Motorcycle

Driver #1:  Penelope Genter, 67, Albuquerque, NM

Driver #2:  Frederick Schierbaum, 62, Taos, NM

Charges:  Pending

On 9-15-2009, at 11:04 AM, Driver #1 was operating Vehicle #1 and was stopped facing north at the location attempting to make a left turn.  Driver #2 was operating Vehicle #2 south at the location in the outside lane.  For reason(s) unknown, Driver #1 failed to observe Vehicle #2 approaching and attempted to complete her turning movement.  As a result, the front bumper of Vehicle #1 struck the left side of Vehicle #2.  Driver #2 was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Medical Investigator Berger.  There were no signs of impairment on the part of either Driver #1 or Driver #2.  Driver #1 was wearing her seat belt.  Driver #2 was not wearing a helmet.  Next of kin has been notified.

0209008217 Agg. Assualt against a Household Member

Arrested: Amber Valerio-Romero 23 Years old, Santa Fe

On this date at about 10:23am Deputies responded to a possible domestic disturbance at the above location. It was reported that the suspect had a gun and had taken a shoot at the victim as he was walking away from the residence. Suspect then fled the scene in a black car with tinted windows. Both victim and suspect were located in the black car a short distance from the residence.

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 10:00am and 12:30pm some unknown person(s) burglarized her residence. There was no forced entry located at the scene entry was possibly gained by an unlocked front door. The above listed items were stolen from the residence.

Sometime between 8:30am and 3:00pm today some unknown person(s) entered the above residence possible through a side window and stole the above items. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

0209008236 Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/Battery on a household member/Leaving the scene of an Accident/Arrest by Warrant 0

Location: SFCRD 84G #78, Nambe, NM

Arrested: Jamie Springgate 39yoa

On the above date, the above named officer was dispatched to the above location regarding a stolen motor vehicle.  While enroute the officer came upon a crash sight involving the complainant's car.  The complainant called dispatch advising that the defendant had battered him and stole his car.  Defendant had fled the scene of the crash, and he was later contacted at the above location and arrested.  Upon running a check for wants on the defendant, he returned with an active arrest order out NM State Police/Las Vegas District.  He was transported and booked at the adult detention center.  For further information, refer to report.

Case#: 0209008232/ Driving while license is suspended-revoked/ Date: 09/14/09

Suspect:  John Flores, age 23, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Driving while license is suspended/revoked

On 9/14/09 deputy observed vehicle making an illegal turn onto Center Drive.  A traffic stop was conducted and upon contact with suspect it was found that he was driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Case#: 0209008225/ Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle/ Date: 09/14/09

Location:  17000 block of US 84/285, Santa Fe, NM (Cuyamungue)

On 9/14/09 victim advised that while doing inventory he noticed that an 8 ft. trailer was missing.  Victim reported that 2 other trailers were missing 2 weeks ago.  He estimated the value of the trailer to be $1,300.00.
