0209008196 Burglary

Deputy assigned: Rachel Webber

Commander entering: Cpl. Fred Suazo

Location: Cielo Estrellado, Edgewood NM

On above date victim reported he and his family arrived home and the front and rear door were unlocked. Victim was contacted by neighbors earlier this date advising the alarm went off and they checked victim's residence and found the front door ajar. Neighbors cleared the residence and secured the doors. Victim did not find anything out of order. No forced entry was found.

Stolen: 32" LCD TV, Playstation

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 1145 and 1600hrs some unknown person(s) burglarized the above residence and stole the above listed items valued at about $1500.00.

Suspect(s)/Arrested:  Pending

 

Victim reported that sometime between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on 9-12-09 and 7:00 a.m. on 9-13-09 an unknown suspect entered into the unsecured hatch-back trunk of his 2003 Acura and stole several misc. tools valued at $500.00.  No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

0209008165 Aggravated Assault 09-12-09

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: 6365 Vuelta Ventura SFNM

On the above date, Officer was dispacthed to the above location regarding the above offense.  Upon arrival, the victim advised that he told the suspect to leave his property after they had gotten into an arguement.  The suspect told the victim that he was going to get a gun and "light up his house.  The victm then got an unloaded rifle and told the suspect to leave his property.  The suspect then grabbed the victim and placed a silver semi-auto to his head.  Suspect then fled the area in a 2004 Chevy truck bearing NM plate 701-PND prior to deputy's arrival.

0209008162 Disorderly Conduct 09-12-09

Location: 83 A Van Po (IAIA) SFNM

Arrested: Aaron Brown 34yoa

On the above date, officers were dispatched to the above location regarding an intoxicated student at the above location.  Upon arrival, the security officer advised that the defendant was highly intoxicated and was disrupting the other students.  Upon making contact with the defendant, it was obvious that he was drunk.  Administration aggranged for a private room for him so long as he stop disrupting the others.  After escorting him to the room, he exited and started yelling obsentities at the officers and continued to ignore requests to calm down and go to sleep.  He was then arrested and booked at the adult detention center.

Location: State Road 599 I-25 East Frontage Road

Arrested: Justin Casiquito Santa Fe

Charged: Distribution of Marijuana, Roadways Laned for Traffic

Suspect was observed traveling on state road 599 and failed to maintain his lane of travel. Upon contact with the driver the strong odoer of burnt Marijuana was detected. The driver had in his possession several individual plastic bags containing a green leafy substance consistant with Marijuana. Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Detention Center and Booked accordingly.

0209008177 Agg DWI, Open Container, Roadways Laned

Arrested: Luis Vargas 38 Santa Fe

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned For Traffic, Open Container

Driver was onbserved traveling on US-84-285 and was failing to maintain his lane of travel. Upon contact with the driver the odor of intoxicating liquor was discovered on his breath. Driver was administered SFST and showed signs of impairment in all phases, and was placed under arrest and advised of the implied consent. Driver submitted to a breath test the results were .20/.19

0209008157 Assault on a Household Member 09-11-09

Arrested: Jonathan Mejia 18yoa

On the above date, the above listed Officer responded to the above location regarding the above offense.  The defendnant assaulted the victim and was resistant to officers.  He was arrested and booked at the adult detention center.

0209008158 Aggravated DWI 09-11-09

Location: West Frontage Rd and Mutt Nelson SFNM

Arrested: Michael Varela 44yoa

On the above date, the above named officer conducted a traffic stop on the defendant for crossing the center line while turning onto Mutt Nelson.  Upon making contact the officer noted signs of impairment.  Defendant failed field tests and was arrested.  Defednat also refused to take a breath test and was charged Aggravated.  Defendant was booked accordingly at the adult detention center.

Arrested: Michael Hayes 51yoa

On the above date, the defendant called in to report that he was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the above location.  Upon making contact, the defendant admitted to drinking a bottle of wine prior to the crash.  Defednant failed field tests and was arrested.  the defendant had a .16 and .15 BrAC and was booked accordingly at the adult detention center.
