On 7/25/09 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to suspect wanting to file a report of a harassment.  Suspect stated that his ex-girlfriend has been calling him and texting him.  Suspect was found to have a bench warrant out of Santa Fe County Magistrate Court for failure to comply with conditions of probation.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

CASE 0209006619 / AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, BATTERY, ASSAULT / 07-25-2009

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

LOCATION:  4600 BLOCK OF AIRPORT ROAD, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  ROXANNE N. ROMERO, 23 YOA FEMALE & CHANTEL D. CHACON, 18 YOA FEMALE, BOITH LIVE IN SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  FIVE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON, ONE COUNT OF BATTERY AND FIVE COUNTS OF ASSAULT

On this date around 0003 hours, deputy was sent to a fight ion progress in the parking of the business.  Deputy was informed by dispatch that there were several females fighting in the parking in front of a white in color Hummer.  Deputy arrived and found Chantel Chacon draging and hitting one of the five victims in the parking lot, causing injury to victim.  Investigation showed where all five victims were at the store when Roxanne Romero and Chantel Chacon arrived and started yelling and swearing at them.  Victims reported that suspects have been harassing them for some time now and one of their freind even retained an order of protection against Roxanne Romero for this same type of actions.  Victims stated Roxanne and Chantel wanted to fight them and they tried to leave and as they were going towards their vehicle at the north east corner of the building, Chantel went after and attacked one of the victims and started punching and slappiing her.  The other victims and citizens were yelling at Chantel to stop it, Roxanne Romero got into her 2007 white in color Hummer, backed out of her parking spot, drove across parking lot and used her vehicle as a weapon tring to hit all five victims.  Roxanne did hit a male with the bumper of her vehicle.  Male victim left the area before deputy's arrived with unknown injury's.  Witnesses in the area reported Roxanne did strike one person, whom pushed one of the female victims out of the way just before she was about to get hit by the Hummer.  Investigation showed where all five victims were in fear oif being run over by Roxanne.  After investigation was finshed, Roxanne Romero was arrested for five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon to wit: 2007 Hummer, Chantel was arrested for five counts of assault and one count of battery.  Both Roxanne and Chantel were transported to the Adult Detention Center, where they were booked on above listed charges.  The victim that was battered refused medical treatment for her injury's, which were minor scrapes and cuts from the pavement and rocks on the ground and she was 21 yoa.  None of the other victims received any injuries and they all were 19 to 26 years of age.   Alchol was not a factor in this case.

0209006621 / Criminal Damage to Property / 7-25-09

Location: Ramirez Thomas Elementary - Santa Fe, NM

A rock was thrown through a window at the above location sometime overnight of July 24, 2009. The damaged window was valued at about $1200.00. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

0209006617 / Agg DWI / 7-24-09

Location: Agua Fria/Camino Julianna

Arrested: Guillen Blandon Daymar - age 22, Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was stopped for failing to maintain his lane. He exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. He submitted to a breath test and the results were at or over .16 BrAC. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Case# 0209006647 Aggravated DWI

Location:  Cerrillos Road at West Frontage Road, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Black, 2001, Ford, 2 door

Suspect:  Amado Flores-Maciel, 38, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Speeding, Open Container, Driver Must be Licensed

On 7-25-2009 at 11:31 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location at 76 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.  The suspect waas found to be in possession of an open bottle of Carta Blanca beer and an open can of Bud Light beer.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect.

Case# 0209006646 Aggravated DWI

Vehicle#2:  Gold, 2000, Chevy, 4 door

Suspect:  Emmanuel Ortiz-Vivanco, 22, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Immediate Notice of Accident, No Insurance

On 7-25-2009 at 11:04 PM, the suspect was operating Vehicle #1 at Location #1 when he struck Vehicle #2 which was legally parked and unattended.  The suspect then fled the scene and struck a fence at Location #2.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance.

Suspect: Jennifer Nieto   Age: 27  Santa Fe

Jennifer Nieto was arrested for assaulting her mother's boyfriend after deputies responded to a domestic dispute in which she was not involved.  Jennifer assaulted victim in the deputies presence after being warned several times to calm down and stay away.

Suspect(s) entered residence through bedroom window and removed a Sony Playstation 2, a Samsung digital camera, 2 pair of Jordan basketball shoes, 1 pair of Lebron James shoes, and misc. pants.  Victim received a phone call advising that a person had been talking about breaking into his residence.  Estimated value of items taken is $1000.00.
