Arrested: Domonic Carl Velasquez. Age:39, Address: El Rito ,NM

Charges: Revoked Drivers License, Failure To Maintain lane, No Insurance, No Registration

On the above date the suspect was reported driving in a careless manner on Interstate 25 running vehicles off the roadway. After he was stopped it was determined that his drivers license was revoked due to previous DWI's. He was placed under arrest and his vehicle was seized.

Vitim reported that sometime between 5:00 pm and 9:00pm on 7/23/09, the suspect whom she had hired to do some work, allegedly stole several pieces of misc jewelry, valued at over $400,000. Suspect  claims the victim offered to pay him for sexual favors but he refused and the victim got mad and made a false accusation against him. Suspect gave consent to search his property, and nothing was found. Suspect denies stealing anything. Investigation continues.

Suspect/arrested: Brianna Lury, 6105 Monte Azul Pl, SFNM age 19

Charges: DWI, Roadways laned for traffic

On 7/24/09, approx 0240hrs, susp[ect was driving a 2004 Infinity 4d, bearing NM plate# KRB-450, and was stopped for weaving, driving left of center. Driver was found to be impaired, and was arrested, charged, and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Leslie Martinez 36yoa

On the above date, officer responded to the area of the above location regarding a call made by the defendant's brother.  The defendant was involved in a domestic earlier in the night with her brother.  The brother advised that she had returned home.  Upon running a check for wants on the defendant, she returned with an active arrest order out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court.  She was arrested and transported to the adult detention center without incident.

Arrested: Ruben Baylon 18yoa

On the above date, the above officer conducted a traffic stop on the defendant and a juvenile passenger for no tail lights.  Upon running a check on the vehicle, which a Triump motorcycle, it returned stolen out of Alburquerque.  Both defendant and passenger claimed ownership and both were arrested and charged.  For further information, refer to report.

Location: 2700 block of Calle De Saiz, SFNM

On the above date, officers responded to the above location regarding the above offense.  Upon arrival, complainant advised that she saw a vehicle drive onto her driveway and see saw three males on her front yard.  She advised that the males rang her doorbell and attempted to push her airconditioner through the window.  She advised that her dag began to bark and the males fled.  Officers searched the area to no avail.

Victim:  54 year old male, Santa Fe, NM

On 7/23/09 RECC received a phone call from the victim advising RECC that he had a gunshot wound.  Victim told RECC that he had not shot himself yet but did have a gun.  Deputies responded to the residence and attempted to call out victim.  Deputies entered the residence and found victim deceased. Detective Rodriguez was called out and took over investigation.  OMI arrived on scene.

Unknown suspect(s) entered residence by cutting the screen and entering through the window.  Suspect(s) rummaged through residence and took a strongbox safe and miscellaneous paperwork.  Estimated value of items taken is pending.  Unknown if anything else was taken.

On 7/23/09 victim wanted to report that someone entered her residence on 7/5/09.  Victim claims she went out to walk her dog and left her front door open.  Victim advised she got back and noticed a Samsung Cell phone and $70.00 in currency missing.  Victim stated that she needed to get to the Airport, so she waited to report the incident.  Estimated value of items taken is $220.00.
