CASE 0209006160 / AGGRAVATED DWI-DRIVING ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC, PROOF OF INSURANCE / 07-12-2009

LOCATION:  ST FRANCIS DRIVE, SAWMILL ROAD, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  MICHAEL CHAVEZ, 28 YOA MALE, LIVES IN SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  AGGRAVATED DWI, PROOF OF INSURANCE AND DRIVING ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC

ON THIS DATE OFFICER OBSERVED SUSPECT IN HIS VEHICLE DRIVRING NORTH BOUND ON ST. FRANCIS DRIVE FAILING TO MAINTAIN HIS LANE OF THE ROADWAY.  SUSPECT WAS STOPPED AND FOUND TO HAVE BEEN DRINKING.  SUSPECT WAS NOT ABLE TO SHOW PROOF OF INSURANCE ON VEHICLE.  SUSPECT SHOWED SIGNS OF IMPAIRMENT DURING TESTING AND WAS ARRESTED.  SUSPECT HAD A .20 / .20 BRAC.  SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER WHERE HE WAS BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.

0209006126/ Forgery/ 07-10-09

Deputy Assigned: S. Romero

Commander Entering: Corp. J. Rodriguez

Location: Jemez Road- Santa Fe

Arrested: Circe Martinez- Rodriguez age: 36

Charges: Forgery and Contributing to a Delinquency of a Minor

The above individual was placed under arrest for the above charges after an investigation found that she had forged the victim signature on several checks. The checks and been subsequently cashed for the sum of $2,400.00. The suspect also had a juvenile assist her in cashing a couple of the checks when a local bank refused to cash them for her. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

CASE 0209006138 / GREAT BODILY INJURY, LEAVING THE SCENE OF A CRASH / 07-11-2009

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY DONALD ROMERO

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

LOCATION:  STATE ROAD #14, SOUTH OF CAMINO VISTA GRAND, SANTA FE AREA

ARRESTED:  MICHAEL T. ATENCIO, 28 YOA MALE 

CHARGES:  GREAT BODILY INJURY BY MOTOR VEHICLE, RECKLESS DRIVING, LEAVEING THE SCENE OF A CRASH

ON THIS DATE ABOVE LISTED SUSPECT WAS NORTH BOUND ON STATE ROAD #14 AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, JUST SOUT OF CAMINO VISTA GRAND.  SUSPECT HIT VICTIMS MOTOR VEHICLE IN THE TRUNK AREA KNOCKING VICTIMS CAR IN TO TAIL SPIN.  SUSPECT THEN DROVE OFF UNTIL HE WAS LATER LOCATED ON AIRPORT ROAD AND SOUTH MEADOWS ROAD PUSHING HIS MOTOR VEHICLE.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE IMPAIRED BY ALCOHOL AND OR DRUGS AND WAS ARRESTED.  VICTIM WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL DUE TO THE MAJOR INJURIES HE RECEIVED IN THE CRASH.  SUSPECT WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL CLEARANCE AND A BLOOD DRAW AND THEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.

CASE 0209006137 / CONCEALING IDENTITY-OPEN CONTAINER-SPEEDING-DRIVER TOO BE LICENSED / 07-11-2009

LOCATION:  HIGHWAY #55 & STATE ROAD #14

ARRESTED:  JOSEFINA ANDAZOLA-GONZALES, 21 YOA FEMALE

CHARGES:  CONCEALING-SPEEDING-OPEN CONTAINER-DRIVER TOO BE LICENSED

ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS STOPPED EAST BOUND ON HIGHWAY 599 FOR SPEEDING (75MPH IN POSTED 45 MPH ZONE).  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL INSIDE OF VEHICLE.  SUSPECT WAS GIVING FALSE NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH TO OFFICER TO CONCEAL HER TURE IDENITITY.  SUSPECT'S IDENTITY WAS LATER LEARNED AND SHE WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

0209006102 Aggravated Fleeing/DWI 07-10-09

Deputy Assigned: Brian Nissen

Comamnder: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: Airport Rd. SFNM

Arrested: Teresa Robenson 55yoa

On the above date, the above officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the defendant who failed to bring her vehicle to a stop.  The defendant fled the officer east on Airport road towards Cerrillos Rd.  Officers were able to corner the defendant on Camino Entrada.  The defendant displayed signs of impairment and was arrested.  She was transported to St. Vicent's Hospital due to her mental state.  She was later released and booked at the adult detetion center.  A search warrant was optained for a blood draw.

0209006101 Burglary/ Commercial 07-10-09

Deputy Assigned: Gerald Lovato

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: 7500 block of Airport Rd. SFNM

On the above date, officers were dispatched to the above location regarding an activated alarm.  Upon arrival, officers noticed that the front door to the business was broken out.  Upon conducting the investigation, two male subjects were seen on store video breaking into the store.  Suspects stole four 30 pack cases of Budlight beer, eight-teen pack of Corona, three bottles of Jose Cuervo and one carton of cigarettes.  Video shows the two suspects in the store taking the item.  Also seen was the suspect's vehicle, which may be a late 90's or early 2000 model Ford four door.  This was the second night in a row that this particular buseness was victimized.  The suspect in last nights burglary is seen again in this burglary.

0209006100 Burglary/Auto 07-09-09

Location: 1000 block of Greenway St. SFNM

On the above date, the above officer was dispatched to the above location regarding an attempted auto burglary.  Upon speaking with the victim, she stated that unknown person broke her driver's side window to her vehcile and was scared off by a person walking their dog.  The suspect fled on foot towards Agua Fria.  The victim advised that nothing was stolen.  Officers attempted to locate suspect to no avail.

Case#: 0209006087/ Child Abuse/ Date: 07/09/09

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Solomon Romero

Commander entering:  Sgt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  1574 State Road 502, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque Elementary School)

On 7/9/09 deputies responded to above location in reference to a report of a child abuse.  Upon deputies arrival the victim reported that the suspect who is her father yelled at her, belittled her and grabbed a backpack bag off of her shoulder causing pain.  Victim also reported that the suspect also threw a book at her hitting her in the face.  CYFD was contacted and victim was placed in a shelter.  Victim is a 12 year old child.  Case is pending.

Case#: 0209006098/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 07/09/09

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Rachel Weber

Commander entering:  Sgt. Linda Ortiz

Location:  residence off of Quiet Valley Loop, Edgewood, NM

On 7/9/09 victim reported that sometime between 7/1/09 and 7/2/09 his nephew gained entry into his residence and took $500.00 in cash/coins, a DVD player, misc. DVD's, a 22 cal. Colt rifle, a .357 mag. handgun, a 22 cal. Winchester rifle, and a 12ga. Remington Shotgun.  Victim stated that he was able to recover some of the items. Victim stated that he is in the process of trying to obtain the rest of the items.  Estimated amount of items taken is $2610.00.  Case is still pending.

Case#: 0209006082, Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, Date: 07/09/09

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Eddie Webb

Location of arrest:  1228 Osage Avenue, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Dale Drew Richmond, age 48, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon

On 7/9/09 suspect was arrested after he was involved in a dispute with the victim over money.  Victim reported that suspect had yelled at her and then grabbed a pair of scissors in a threatening manner and told her "I'm going to kill you."  Suspect was located at his residence and was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.
