202013108/Violation of an Order of Protection/12-20-20

Deputy Assigned: E. Madrid

Commander Entering: Cpl. Alderete

Location: 84/285 and Virgil Road

Suspect: Clyde Vigil / Espanola, NM 

Suspect went to the residence of a family member where there was a Order of Protection in place prohibiting him from being on the property or near the petitioner. Deputies arrived at the location and the suspect was placed under arrest and booked into jail accordingly.

2020013312/ Driving on a Revoked License/12-20-20

Deputy Assigned: J. Cano

Location: 84-285 and NM 503

Suspect: Larry Gallegos/ Espanola, NM 

Suspect was stopped for speeding and it was learned that he was driving on a revoked drivers license with an arrest clause. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

2020013104 / Burglary / Larceny 12-20-2020

Location 2200 Block Henry Lynch

Suspect: Unknown

On the above date deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an after the fact burglary. The reporting party stated an unknown suspect gained entry into a storage unit which contained a large amount of construction tools. The reporting party stated a large amount of tools were taken as well as several electronics. This case is ongoing and under investigation.

 

2020013103 / Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle / 12/20/20

Location: 100 block Rincon Escondido

Suspect: Unknown

Stolen Vehicle: 2016 Red Toyota Corolla, bearing NM NNJ308

On the above date deputies responded to the above location in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. The vehicle owner stated she parked her vehicle unlocked in her front yard and in unknown person took it. The case is ongoing and under investigation.

2020013101/Unattended death/12-20-2020

Location: Virgil Road, Espanola, NM

Deceased: 30-year-old male from Espanola N.M.

Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a male subject found unconscious and not breathing lying in his bed inside the apartment.  During the investigation, it was learned the deceased suffered from medical conditions and had a drug use. OMI arrived on scene and found no signs of foul play.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a vehicle being taken. The reporting party stated on 12/18/2020 a friend of his who is a juvenile took his vehicle without permission.

Suspect: Eugene Padilla / Espanola, NM 

Suspect crashed his vehicle and upon deputies arrival a DWI investigation was conducted and he observed signs of impairment. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

2020013067, trafficking controlled substance to wit:Meth/ trafficking controlled substance to wit: Heroin,12-17-2020

Location: #2 Vista Del Monte  Santa Fe NM

Arrested: Jerome Quintana  60 yoa  Santa Fe, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the above subject for improper display of a temporary tag.  During the traffic stop, the above subject had an active felony warrant and was arrested.  During the investigation, the above subject was found in possession of meth, heroin, scales and packaging material.  Subject was charged and booked accordingly.

2020013069, Possession of Controlled substance to wit: Meth/Possession of drug paraphernalia,12-17-2020

Location: #2 Vista Del Monte  Santa Fe NM

Arrested: Samantha Valencia  30 yoa  Santa Fe, NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop for improper display of a temporary tag.  During the investigation, the above subject was a passenger and found to be in possession of a controlled substance to wit: Meth and drug paraphernalia.  Subject was arrested and booked into ADC accordingly.

2020013080 / Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving while license revoked / 12-17-20

Deputy assigned: N. Lefleur

Location: State Road 599 and Paseo Real

Arrested: Cresencio Romero, 44-year-old male from Espanola N.M.

On 12-17-20 at about 9:00pm a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Romero because his license plate was suspended.  Further investigation revealed his driver's license was revoked.  He was placed under arrest and while being booked into the Santa Fe County Jail Methamphetamine was located in his sock.
