Deputies responded to the listed location in reference to a fraud.  The investigation revealed the victim had received a phone call with a suspect posing as FedEx.  The suspect advised a payment was needed before they could deliver hand sanitizer and masks to the store.  Victim sent payment to the account provided via MoneyGram and later realized the call was a scam.  Case is under investigation.

0220007666 / Burglary, Breaking and Entering, Tampering with Motor Vehicle, Trespass, Concealing ID / 5-24-20

Location: Santa Fe Studios Road

Suspect: Derek Padilla

Deputies responded to the listed location in reference to a male found sleeping in a vehicle on the listed property.  Investigation revealed the listed suspect unlawfully made entry into a large secure movie tent and was found in a vehicle being stored in the tent.  The vehicle's ignition system had been tampered with consistent with the attempt to steal the vehicle.  Upon locating the male he provided false information about his identity.  Also found on the listed property was a portable building with a window that had been pried open.  Nothing was taken from the portable building.  A crow bar was located on the suspect upon arrest which was consistent with pry marks found on the window of the portable building.  The suspect was arrested and booked on the listed charges.  Additional charges are pending further investigation.

Male subject hit construction barrel near crash scene. An odor of alcohol was smelt on him. Subject was arrested and booked for DUI

Deputies were dispatched to 100 Block of Rio Vista Run in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Deputies discovered that the suspect was intoxicated. Suspect refused SFST's. Suspect was arrested and booked.

Stolen: Scissor Lift

Deputies responded to the listed location in reference to a larceny.  The investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) stole a Sky Jack Scissor lift sometime between late fall of 2019 and the date of report.  Case is under investigation.

Incident Location: Eldorado, NM

Deceased: 76 year old male

On May 21, 2020 Deputies responded to the mentioned location reference to an unconscious male not breathing.  The victim was working on his residence when he suddenly collapsed.  Life saving measures were attempted but were unsuccessful.  There were no sigs of foul play.

Location: 300 Block of Dinosaur Trail, Santa Fe, NM

On Thursday, May 21st 2020, deputies responded to the above area in regards to a breaking and entering.  Unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into several trailers and a vehicle between 05-15 and 05-21-2020 by cutting several locks.  It is unknown whether anything was stolen at this time.  This case remains under investigation.

0220007459- Disorderly Conduct, Resisting or obstructing an officer, Possession of drug paraphernalia- 5-20-20

Location- Caballo Viejo, Santa Fe

Person Arrested- 35 yo William Garrett, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above listed area regarding a male being disorderly. Above listed subject was located at which time a foot pursuit ensued.  Above listed was detained a short time later and found to have a marijuana pipe on his person.  Subject was taken to the Adult Detention Facility and booked accordingly.

Location- Gallina Peak, Santa Fe

Person Arrested- 36 yo Christian Paul,   Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the area regarding a suspicious vehicle. Contact was made with the above listed individual who attempted to conceal narcotics from deputies. Items were located and tested positive to be cocaine. Subject was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. 

0220007414-Possession of a Controlled Substance- 5-19-2020

Location- 28 Camino Justicia

Person Arrested- 50 yo Adrian Montoya Santa Fe

Above listed person had been arrested and booked by another agency on other charges. While incarcerated, it was found he was in possession of heroin. He was re-booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
