On Thursday, May 14th, 2020 deputies responded to the above area in reference to a female not conscious and not breathing.  The investigation revealed the female had passed away.  There were no signs of foul play.

0220007142/Possession of a Controlled Substance/05-14-2020

Deputy Assigned: M. Sanchez

Location: 28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Eli Martinez, 35 year old

On Thursday, May 14th, 2020 deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found with suspected narcotics.  The investigation revealed the suspect was found in possession of Suboxone, for which he did not have a prescription for.  The suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Location: Valle Vista Subdivision, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Mac Tools, House Keys

On Wednesday, May 13th, 2020 deputies responded to an after the fact burglary.  The investigation revealed unknown suspects entered an enclosed water heater closet and stole the above mentioned items.  The case remains under investigation.

Case #0220007121 Resisting evading an officer 05-14

Assigned:Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: Pam Y Eutilia (Agua Fria) 

Arrested: Adrian Garcia 28 yoa male Santa Fe

Subject was recognized as a individual with a warrant. Contact was attempted and the Subject fled on foot northbound toward the Santa Fe River. He was apprehended and taken into custody without incident. He was booked on an active District Court warrant and a San Miguel County Magistrate Court Warrant. 

Case #0220007112 Battery Against A Household Member

Assigned: A. Lopez 

Entering. Sgt. E. Webb 

Location: Siler Lane/ Siler Road  Santa Fe 

Arrested: Bryan Vargas-Vega 22 yoa male 

Suspect was questioned after he was located near some closed businesses. He was found to have in plain view suspected heroin. He was arrested without incident. 

0220007112, Battery against a HHM, 5-13-2020

Location: Tierra Hermosa Court, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Jason Anaya    41 Yoa

Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic dispute. Above suspect was involved in a verbal argument and then threw a bullet cartridge at his girlfriend causing a welt on her forehead.  Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspects: Ruth Holswade  50 yoa

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a reckless driver that was unable to maintain its lane of travel.  A traffic stop was conducted which the above subject admitted to ingesting prescription medication prior to driving.  SFST's were administered, which the subject showed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and a blood draw was taken pending results.  Subject booked at ADC accordingly.

Charges: Possession with Intent to Distribute: Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance: Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Arrested: Nathan Mulligan, 24 year old    Angel Fire, NM

On Tuesday, May 12th, 2020 deputies made contact with the suspect after he was found asleep in the driver's seat of a vehicle.  Upon further investigation, it was found the suspect was in possession of a large quantity of packaged marijuana, along with other paraphernalia to supplement the sale of such narcotics.  The suspect's vehicle was sealed for a pending search warrant.  The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above listed charges.

Location: Calle Mi Gusto   Santa Fe, NM

Deceased: Male    Age 72   Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to location reference a male possibly deceased. Upon arriving, Deputies located the male who did not survive a medical episode. OMI was summoned and assisted with the case.

Suspect: Benjamin Christy        Age: 29

On Tuesday, May 12, 2020 Deputies responded to the mentioned area in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Deputies learned the suspect grabbed the victim and held her down while she was attempting to leave.  Suspect was charged and booked accordingly.
