Victim reported sometime between 4:00 PM Friday September 13, 2019 and 6:00 AM Monday September 16, 2019, unknown suspects entered the public works field by cutting through the wire fence.  No items had been taken however two tractor batteries had been removed and left out near the tractors.  Case is under investigation.

Victim reported sometime during the night hours or September 15 and 16 unknown suspects entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through her car.  Victim reported nothing taken from the vehicle. Case is under investigation.

Location: Residence on Ravens Ridge Trail

Vehicle: 2009 Toyota Tacoma

Suspect: unknown

On 9-15-19 someone stole a Toyota Tacoma from the victim's driveway at approximately 2:00am.  The vehicle was equipped with Lo Jack and the system was activated.  The vehicle was recovered within a mile from the victim's house after the Lo Jack system led Deputies to its location.  it was abandon and no suspects have been identified.

On 9-15-19 a combative inmate battered a Corrections Officer while they were restraining him in a cell.  The Officer sustained a minor injury to his leg and did not wish to pursue charges against the inmate.

Location: Residence on Val Verde drive (Valle Vista)

Arrested: Greg Nieto-57-year-old male from santa fe N.M.

On September 16th Mr. Nieto was involved in an altercation with a household member.  During the altercation Mr. Nieto battered the household member by pushing them into a wall.  he was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Deputy observed the Toyota leave the roadway on Paseo De River. Driver was stopped. Deputy observed bloodshot watery eyes, odor of alcohol and slurred speech. Driver admitted he drank one beer prior to driving. Deputy observed cues during the SFST. Driver was arrested and he agreed to a breath test. Driver gave a sample of .14/.14. He was booked into ADC on the above charges.

Victim: 32 Year Old Male

Deputies located the listed victim walking on Richards Ave away from the apartment building. I made with him and noticed a open cut on the bridge of his nose as well as a scratch on his left arm. He stated he was trying to leave his ex-girlfriend's residence when she acused him of stealing. The suspect became irate and struck the victim.

Suspect: Paul Sanchez

While patrolling the listed area Deputy ran a license plate attached to a 98 Gray Mercedes Benz.  The license plate returned as stolen.  Traffic stop was conducted and suspect provided false information about his identity.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.
