Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was rapidly accelerating and losing traction. The driver displayed signs of intoxication. SFST's were conducted the results of which indicated impairment. Subject was arrested and booked.

Suspect: Elizabeth Trevizo (30)

 

Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference driver. Deputies located the vehicle and observed the driver to have bloodshot watery eyes and to smell of an alcoholic beverages. SFST’s were administered and signs of impairment were observed. The driver refused chemical testing and was found to be operating her vehicle on a revoked DL for prior DWI’s. The Driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deceased: Male, 72, Sombrillo, NM

On Thursday, August 1, 2019, deputies responded to location in reference to a male who was unresponsive. Next of kin was notified and the Office of the Medical Investigator came to the scene. Investigation was turned over to the Office of the Medical Investigator.

Case #0219013398, Identity Theft

Location: Buffalo Thunder Trail, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 71, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Identity Theft, Larceny, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card

On Thursday, August 1, 2019 at approximately 3:00pm, Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to a larceny. Victim forgot wallet at location and upon returning, the wallet was gone. An unknown suspect removed the wallet and used one of the credit cards at a convenience store nearby. Investigation is ongoing.

On above listed date Deputies were dispatched to I-25 MM264, in regards to a stalled vehicle.Contact was made with above suspect who showed signs of impairment, had open containers in plain view and refused SFST’s.Suspect consented to a breath test and results were 0.09 and 0.08.Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Victim reported she was in fear of immediate battery and locked herself in the restroom. During the incident, the suspect damage the victim's cellular phone.  Suspect was arrested and booked at A.D.C.

Suspect was stopped for speeding it was discovered his license was revoked due to DWI. He was arrested and booked.

Suspect: Gary Brown, 35, Santa Fe, NM

On Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at approximately 4:46pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was found in possession of Suboxone. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Case #0219013264, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Location: Interstate 25 Mile Post 276, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: black and green Big Tex Trailer

Suspect: Alfren Griego, 39, Albuquerque, NM

Charges: Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at approximately 5:22pm, deputy made contact with the suspect as he was checking on the vehicle that was on the side of the road at location. Owner of the vehicle was on location and advised they were going to pick up the trailer at a different location and it wasn't there. Owner of the vehicle was able to provide proof of ownership and advised the suspect did not have permission to take the trailer. There were other items in the vehicle that did not belong to the suspect. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at approximately 8:00pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Suspect was found in possession of suboxone and marijuana. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
