Subject was stopped for speeding and having the high beams on while on approach of oncoming traffic. Contact was made with the driver who admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to driving. He showed signs of impairment during field sobriety tests. He was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample. He was booked into Santa Fe County Detention Center without incident.
