Items Damaged: Bedroom door ($100.00), Television ($100.00 unknown brand), Piggy bank ($2.00) and Plastic Display ($2.00) 

Suspect was upset that his younger brother took his Xbox controller. Suspect damaged items listed. Suspect also assaulted his mother with profane and derogatory language. Suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Stolen: Instruments

Victim reported finding her screen door open in the morning.  Shortly after she found her daughter's school instrument stolen from the residence.  Case is  under investigation.

Stolen: Solar Equipment

Victim reported while out of town her solar equipment was stolen from outside and inside the residence.  Case is under investigation.

0218015484/ Death Investigation/ 09-13-18

Deputy Assigned: C.Zook

Location: 300 block of State Road 76 (La Puebla)

Decedent: 66 year old male

On 09-13-18 Deputies were dispatched to an unresponsive male. The reporting party stated the male was not breathing and cold to the touch. Santa Fe County Fire Personnel arrived on scene and were unable to perform life saving techniques. The decedent was diagnosed with a terminal illness several months ago. No signs of foul play were observed. Cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Medical Investigator.

Case #0218015464, Criminal Damage to Property

Location: 6400 block of Richards Ave., Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Male, 31, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2016 red Buick Regal

On Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at approximately 5:13pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to criminal damage to a motor vehicle. While parked at location an unknown suspect(s) keyed the vehicle causing a large amount of damage to the vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.

Victim found the listed vehicle stolen from his driveway.  The vehicle was taken sometime between September 11, 2018 at 5:00 PM and September 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM.  Case is under investigation.

Case #0218015398, Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member

Location: Manuelito Lane and Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM

Victim 1: Female, 48, Santa Fe, NM

Victim 2: Male, 14, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Amanda Gurule, 32, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggravated Assault Against a Household Member, Harassment, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at approximately 6:05pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. During an argument suspect removed clothing from the area belonging to victim 2. Suspect returned later on and began arguing with victim 1. During the argument the suspect brandished a knife, and damaged a window screen. Attempts to contact suspect were unsuccessful. An arrest warrant was drafted and approved by a magistrate court judge.

Case #0218015393, Driving While License Revoked

Assigned Deputy: J. Jaramillo

Location: Santa Fe County Road 74 and Lavadero, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Jeff Crespin, 48, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: White 1998 Ford Van

Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Stopping and Standing in Roadways

On Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at approximately 5:05pm, Deputy observed the vehicle stopped in the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, who is the suspect. A license check through N.C.I.C. revealed that the suspect's license was revoked with an arrest clause attached. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
