On December 18, 2017 Deputies were dispatched to 262 Los Pinos in reference to a fight. Deputies learned the suspect battered the victim and assaulted another over the use of a tractor near his property. Suspect was then located by deputies and resisted when being detained. Suspect was charged and booked accordingly.

On December 18, 2017 deputies were at St. Vincent's Hospital on a follow up. While in the ER the suspect was being irate yelling and disturbing patients. Suspect was refusing to leave the ER and was escorted by security and deputies. Suspect then attempted to assault deputy outside of the ER and was placed under arrest.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a single vehicle crash on US 84/285. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver identified as Eric Giron. Upon Deputies contact with Eric, signs of impairment were observed. SFST's confirmed the Deputies observations. A blood test was administered by medial staff at a hospital.Eric was arrested accordingly and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On Saturday December 16, 2017 Deputies received a call of a reckless driver in the area of NM 41/US 285. Deputies observed the above subject speeding on NM 41 near B Anaya Road. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. The subject was administered SFST's which he refused to do. Subject also refused to submit a breath sample and was charged and booked accordingly. Subject's vehicle was seized.

Arrested: Carlos Ytuarte 43 years old, Santa Fe, NM, 87506
Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to a wrong way driver on US 84 /285. Santa Fe County Deputies located the suspect vehicle traveling northbound on the southbound lane of travel near mile marker 170. Contact was made with the driver identified as Carlos Ytuarte. SFST's were administered. During the testing the driver displayed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested without incident.
