Case #0217003313, Driving While License Revoked

Assigned Deputy: Lt. F. Trujillo

Location: Caja Del Oro Grant Rd. and Agua Fria St., Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Gabriella Martinez, 40, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: black 2003 Chevy Tahoe

Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Failure to Stop at Stop Sign

On Thursday, March 9, 2017 at approximately 11:30pm, vehicle was observed failing to stop at a stop sign. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the suspect. The suspect's information was run through N.C.I.C. and the suspect returned with a revoked driver's license due to a DWI. Suspect was arrested under the 66-8-122G arrest clause, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Seizure Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

Case #0217003261, Battery Upon a Peace Officer

Assigned Deputy: A. Lopez

Commander Entering: Cpl. K. Whyte

Location: Quail Run Drive, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Melicio Gallegos, 23, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: Green 2006 Suzuki 4door car

Charges: Battery Upon a Peace Officer X 2; DWI; Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer

On Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at approximately 9:20pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a male subject driving a vehicle intoxicated. Contact was made with the suspect who had been seen driving the vehicle. Suspect showed signs of being under the influence of Intoxicating liquor and/or drugs. While speaking to the suspect, the suspect fled from deputies on foot. Suspect was caught and placed under arrest. While being placed under arrest the suspect battered two deputies. Suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and refused to provide a blood test. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without further incident. No one received any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

0217003253-Burglary, Larceny- 3-8-17

Location- 100 Block of Cougar Ridge

Items Taken- Electronics, Credit Cards valued at $250.

Between 10:20 am and 4:50 pm, unknown subjects entered the above listed residence and took the above listed items.  Case is under investigation.

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member

On 03/08/17, Deputies were dispatched to the above location in regards to a Domestic Dispute. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim and the above individual. It was determined through investigation the above individual battered the victim. The above individual was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

On 03/07/17 the above individual was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on 5 separate warrants issued out of the Second Judicial District Court in Albuquerque, NM. The warrants were for Failing to Comply with Conditions of Probation.

Case#: 0217003189, Residential Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

Deputy Handling: C. Archuleta

Incident Location: NM State Road 502, San Illdefonso Pueblo Border

 

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a report of a Residential Burglary, after the fact. Upon arrival, I was learned that an unknown person(s) forced entry into the homeowners storage sheds and stole various power tools and an archery bow.  Apparently the burglary occurred sometime the day before.  This case is currently under investigation.

On above date, Deputy Vigil was dispatched to the area of Casa Rufina in reference to an auto burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined between 1:00 pm and 3:15 pm unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the victim's unlocked pickup truck and stole the above listed items.  Case is under investigation.

Case 0217003102-Larceny-03/05/17

Location: 2000 Blk. of Ranchos de Chavez

Taken: Wood splitter (value$1027.77)

Victim:51 Year Old Male

On the above date, the above victim stated the above item was stolen off his property between February 28th and March 1st 2017. The above victim does not know who would have stolen the wood splitter and does not have the serial number at this time. There are no known witnesses or suspects in this case. The victim lives on the property with several family members and he stated that did not see anything. The victim also stated that the gate does not have a pad lock and only clips with a chain so anyone could have entered the property. The victim stated that he does not have any cameras on the property.
