Location: Residence on Evergreen Lane (El Rancho area)

Arrested: Patrick Herrera - 46 - Santa Fe - NM

Deputies were dispatched in reference to a Domestic Disturbance.  Victim advised she was beaten up by her boyfriend for unknown reasons. Victim had a laceration above her left eye and bruises on her face, arms, and legs.

The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Location: Santa Fe County Jail

Arrested: Edgar Uribe-Urbina, 27-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 02-03-17 Jail staff located Suboxone on the defendant while conducting a pat search.

0217001641/ Driving While License Revoked/ 02-04-17

Arrested: Julian Contreras age: 24

Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Speeding

On 02/04/17 the above individual was observed driving a black Honda Accord at a high rate of speed heading southbound. The vehicle speed was verified by radar at 74 mph in a posted 45 mph zone. Upon making contact with the driver, it was learned his license was revoked with the arrest clause. The above individual was booked accordingly. The vehicle was seized per the Santa Fe County Ordinance.

Charge: District Court Warrant- Charging Failure to Comply with Pre-Trial Services

On 02/04/17 the above arrested individual was served with a District Court Warrant for Failing to Comply with Pre-Trial Services. The above individual was booked accordingly.

Case #0217001564, Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

Victim: Female, 75, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2006 Silver Honda Accord

Charges: Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, Larceny

On Thursday, February 2, 2017 at approximately 9:26pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. While vehicle was parked at the location, suspects stole a jacket containing the keys to the above vehicle and removed the vehicle from the location without the victim's permission. Investigation is ongoing.

Location: Ojito Drive

Items Stolen: Electronics, Gaming Console, Jewelry

Suspect: Unknown

On the above date, Deputy Eccles was dispatched to the area of Ojito Drive in reference to a residential burglary.  Upon arrival it was determined between the hours of 11:00 am and 3:30 pm, unknown suspects made unlawful entry into the residence and stole the above items.  There are no known suspects at this time, case is under investigation.

0217001535, Death investigation, 2-2-2017

Deputy Assigned: JD Lujan

Commander Entering: Cpl. M. Jaramillo

Location: El Potrero Road, Chimayo, NM

Decedent: 91 year old male.

Deputies responded to the location  in reference to a male subject not conscious and not breathing.  The decedent was complaining of body aches and neck pain earlier in the morning.  Medics arrived on scene and exhausted all measures of life, but were unsuccessful. No signs of foul play were observed. Cause of Death will be determined by the Office of the Medical Investigator.

0217001528 / Possession of a controlled substance (Suboxone), Possession of drug paraphernalia / 02-02-17

Arrested: Nicholas Gallegos, 28-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 02-02-17 jail staff located three Suboxone strips and a hypodermic syringe on Mr. Gallegos. 

Case-0217001509-Battery against a household member

Deputy Assigned: E. Eccles

Suspect: Joann Olivo (32)

On the above date, I was dispatched to the above location in reference to a civil standy.  Upon arrival, I observed parties appearing to argue and yell towards one another.  The parties were seperated and contact was made with the victim, who had blood emitting from his upper lip.  I also observed a small scratch and red marks on the left side of the victims neck as well.  It was learned the suspect arrived at the location to retrieve belongings when an argument ensued over belongings..  It was learned the victim was punched with a closed fist by the suspect, causing the injury to his mouth.  The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to SF Count ADC without incident.  

0217001516 / Possession of a Controlled Substance / 2-1-17

Location: 28 Camino Justicia (ADC)

Suspect: Antonia Alvarez

On the above date, Deputy Jaramillo was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance.  Upon arrival it was determined the above listed suspect was found in possession of heroin and suboxone.  Inmate Alvarez was rebooked without incident.
