On above date the above listed inmate was found in possession of a green leaf like substance consistent with marijuana as well as a orange film like substance consistent with suboxone.  Inmate was re-booked on two counts of possession of a controlled substance,

On today's date, deputies responded to the victims home in reference to a Larceny.  Upon speaking with the victim.  It was learned that numerous pieces of jewelry were noticed missing from the residence between late September and mid October of this year.  No suspect information is available at this time.

Stolen: Misc. jewelry, U.S. currency, 1 coach make up bag

Victim reported sometime on today's date between 7:50am and 11:00am, unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into the residence through the rear window and stole the above mentioned items. Case is still under investigation.

Suspect: Andres Garcia, Santa Fe, NM

On Monday, November 14, 2016, at approximately 11:06pm, a correctional officer was punched in the face by the suspect. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

0216017817-Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle-11-13-16

Location- 100 Block of Ramada Court

Item Taken- 1994 Ford F-150 pick up Blue in color bearing NM license plate NZK986.

Between 11:30 pm on November 12, 2016 and 12:30 pm on November 13, 2016, unknown suspect took the above listed vehicle without permission from the above listed residence. Value of the vehicle is $1,200. Case is under investigation.

Between 4:00 pm on November 6 and 4:00 pm on November 12, 2016 unknown subjects forced entry into the above location and took the above listed items.  Case is under investigation.

 Victim reported a male individual asked to use his telephone inside his residence.  Upon leaving the residence, the male suspect stole his car keys that were hanging on the dead bolt to the front door and stole the above mentioned vehicle.  NMSP recovered the vehicle on State Road 503.  Case is still active.

0216017758, Death Investigation, 11-12-2016

Location-Plaza Del Cerro, Chimayo , NM

Deputies responded to above location in reference to an ambulance assistance call. A 95 year old male was unconscious, not breathing, and CPR was in progress.  Medic personnel arrived on scene and attempted to revive the male individual, but were unsuccessful. During the investigation, there were no signs of foul play.

Between 8:35 am and 1:45 pm, unknown subjects forced entry into a 2006 Gray in color Jeep Liberty and took the above item.  Case is under investigation.

Location: Sobriety Checkpoint – Old Las Vegas Highway

Suspect: Antonio Baca – 34 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Child Endangerment – DWI (2^nd Offense) – Driving on a Revoked License

The suspect was contacted as he drove through a sobriety checkpoint that was being conducted on Old Las Vegas Highway.  The suspect admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and showed signs of impairment during the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.  An Intoxilyzer Test was administered with the results being .12. A 14 year old minor child was in the vehicle with the suspect while he was driving which led to him being charged with child endangerment.  Due to the suspect driving on a revoked license, and being charged with a 2^nd DWI, the suspect’s vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility
