On Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 9: 39 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location attempting to negotiate a right curve. For reason(s) unknown the suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the left side, striking a dirt embankment and a wooden fence. The suspect was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and no proof of insurance could be located in the vehicle. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test. Results of that test are pending. The suspect sustained a head injury and was admitted to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injury.

On Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 6:24 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location when he struck another vehicle from behind. The suspect was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a straw and a bottle cap which had been used to ingest a controlled substance. The suspect is under the control of the New Mexico Department of Corrections (Probation and Parole Division) and an Arrest Order was issued for the suspect for violating his conditions of probation.

Victim reports at the above location between the hours of 10:30pm and 11:10pm the above vehicle was stolen. Victim stated no one had perimission to take the vehicle. Vehicle was entered into the National Crime Information Center as stolen. Case still pending further investigation.

On June 28, 2014 Deputies stopped a black in color Audi Bearing New Mexico registration tag 876RZK while it was traveling north bound on U.S. 84/28 without headlamp during night time hours. During the course of the traffic stop it was found the driver who was identified as George Dominguez was impaired by an intoxicating liquor. It was furthermore learned that Mr. Dominguez’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle was currently revoked as a result of a prior DWI arrest. Dominguez was arrested and taken to the Santa Fe County adult detention center where he was booked accordingly. The vehicle which he was operating was seized per county ordinance 2013-5

Victim and suspect were reported to have been involved in an argument. Victim was reported to have been struck in the back of the head with an unknown object causing victim to sustain laceration. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Location: State Road 599 Mile Marker 3, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Chris Romero 56 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Aggravated DWI, Headlights Required, and Open Container
Deputy observed a Black in color Chevrolet Pickup traveling Southbound at the above location without headlights. A traffic stop was conducted and upon contact with the driver an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the drivers breath. Driver admitted to comsuming 4 Budwiser Beers prior to operating the vehicle. SFST's were adminstered which the driver displayed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and agreed to submit to a breath test. Test resulting in BrAC .20/.19 respectively. Upon inventory of the vehicle an open Mickey's Beer was located inside the vehicle. Suspect was booked on the above charges without further incident.

Stolen: 1998 Honda Civic, black in color (other identifying information pending)
On Thursday June 26, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Madrid in reference to a reported stolen motor vehicle. Contact was made with the victim who advised that unknown suspects took the victims 1998 Honda Civic from his property. The victim reported that no one had permission to take his vehicle from his property. This case remaind under investigation.
