Case # 0214009999 Fraudulent use of a credit card 06-26-14

Deputy Assigned: Isaiah Anaya

Commander Entering: Cpl. Edward Webb Jr.

Location: 600 block of Calle Rivera (Chimayo Area)

Victim advised between June 22, 2014 and June 24,2014 unknown persons used the the victims credit card at several places and charged over $2700.00. Victim realized card was missing and the card was cancelled.

Location: 2000 block of South Galisteo

Victim reported court documents were signed with her name.  The victim said she had never signed any documents for the courts.  Case is under investigation.

0214009940 Theft of a credit card by taking or retaining possession of card taken 06.26.2014

Deputy Assigned: Jose Lujan

Location: 6401 Richards Avenue (SFCC)

Arrested: Luis Urias (20) Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Drivers License, Citi credit card, First National bank debit card

 Deputies responded to a Larceny at the Santa Fe Community College on Wednesday 06.25.2014.  On Thursday 06.26.2014, Security from the SFCC, called the Sheriff;s Office indicating the suspect in the case was on the campus.  Deputies responded and located the suspect.  The suspect was interviewed and admitted to deputies he stole the items the day before.  He also admitted to using the credit cards.  Deputies located the stolen credit cards on the suspect.  Suspected was arrested without incident.

0214009971 Criminal Damage to Property

Deputy assigned: Lawrence Martinez

Location: NM 14 & Cielo De Oro (area)

Damaged: Damage to gate

On today's date the victim reported that sometime between 9pm on 6/25/14 and 6am on this date; unknown persons damaged the metal entry gate to the Cielo De Oro subdivision. The gate appeared to have been forced open which damaged the control arm and the electric control box; it is believed the damage was intentional.

The damage was reported to be about $10,000.00.

Case#: 0214009663/Battery on a Household Member, Assault on a Household Member/Date: 06-25-2014

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Vanessa Weinrick

Commander Entering: Sergeant Deborah Anaya

Location: 3700 block of Platt Road, Santa Fe, NM (Riverside MHP)

Arrested: 15 yoa, female, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery on a household member, Assault on a household member

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to an assistance with juvenile.  Victim reports her 15 year old daughter pushed and attempted to punch her, after refusing to get into the vehicle with mother.  JPO was contacted and authorized incarceration.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly on the above charges without further incident.

Case#:0214009958/Residential Burglary, Larceny/Date: 06-25-2014

Deputy Assigned: Deputy Marvyn Jaramillo

Location: 2600 block of Sycamore Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP Area)

Stolen: White Mini Apple IPad, Zmodo 8 Channel DVR Home Security Hard Drive, Medical Marijuana and Various U.S. Coins  Total Estimated Value: $1,205.00

 

Victim reports sometime between the hours of 7pm and 8pm unknown persons gained unlawful entry into the above location.  Entry was gained through a south facing door.  Once inside the above items were taken from inside.  Case still pending further investigation.

Location: # 280 block of State Road 76, Santa Fe, NM 87567 ( Chimayo Area)

Stolen: Electronics, Jewelry

 On Wednesday June 25, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of State Road 76 in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who stated between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm suspects gained unlawful entry into the victims home, once entry was made the suspect took various electronics and jewelry from within the home. This case remains under investigation.

Location:7500  block of Kachina Loop, Santa Fe, NM 87507 ( Airport Area / Vista Primera)

Stolen: Firearm

  On Wednesday June 25, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies resonded to an address on Kachina Loop in reference to a reported larceny. The victim reproted to Deputies that unknown suspects took a firearm from within his home. The victim believes the susepct to be some one that had been allowed in his home recently. This case remains under investigation.

  On Wednesday, June 25, 2014 Santa Fe County Deputies were dispatched to the area of Hyde Park Road in reference to a reported larceny. Contact was made with the victim who stated that unknown suspects took jewelry from her while she was visiting a location. Suspects are pending as this case remains under investigation.

Location:  Aloe Circle, Santa Fe, NM

Victim:  Female,63, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Newton J. Coker, 64, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Batery Against a Household Member

On Tuesday, June 24, 2014 the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect pushed the victim and pinched her facial area.  The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
