Charges: D.W.I., Careless Driving, Open Container

On 05-10-13 Deputies responded to a Motor Vehicle Crash on State Road 502 near Pojoaque High School. Upon arrival a white Toyota Tacoma was observed lying on its roof against the guard rail. Contact was made with the driver, who was identified as the above individual. While speaking to the driver signs of impairment were observed. The driver performed poorly on the Standardized Field Sobriety test and was placed under arrest. The driver submitted to chemical testing with the results of .12/.12 BrAC. The driver was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Facility. During the investigation of the crash, it was learned the driver had crossed over into opposing lanes of travel and over corrected. An open beer bottle was located inside the vehicle.

Location: Calle de Vecinos - Pojoaque

On May 8, 2013, a 15-year-old female was staying home sick from school and an unknown male attempted to enter the residence. When the male saw the girl, he fled the area. Deputies responded to the residence and searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect. Investigation is still ongoing.

Deputies responded to location in reference to a welfare check. Upon the arrival of deputies they located the victim in the home deceased. No signs of foul play is suspected. OMI was notified.

Victim stated that between the hours of 12:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. suspect(s) gained unauthorized entry to his home and tooke various electronics, jewelry and firearms. This case remains under investigation.

Victim stated in the early morning hours of May 08, 2013 he heard a noise coming from the the exterior side of his home. Victim later discovered that unknown suspects removed a screen from a window outside fo his home. This case remains under investigation.

Case # 0213006385 - Aggravated Burglary - 5/7/13

Location: East Venus Road - Edgewood, NM

On May 7, 2013, at 11:40am, Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at the above location. The suspect fled the area prior to their arrival. The suspect was later identified and a warrant was obtained for his arrest.
