0213006243 / Battery, Assault, Disorderly Conduct / 05-04-13

Location: 7510 Airport Road (Shell Gas Station)

Arrested: Jessie Aguilar, 23-year-old male from Rio Rancho N.M.

On 05-04-13 at about 9:00PM Deputies observed Mr. Aguilar and another male involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot of the Shell Gas Station.  Mr. Aguilar was observed battering and assulting the other male.  It was determined Mr. Aguilar was the agressor.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail on the baove charges.

Location: Residence on State Road 14

Victim: 29-year-old male

On 05-04-13 at about 12:00AM Deputies responded to a report of a suicide at a residence on State Road 14.  Upon arrival a 29-year-old male was found deceased in the residence with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.  Criminal Investigations was called out to the scene and conducted an investigation.

Location: Camino La Tierra (La Tierra Area)

Arrested: Joseph Lopez 63 old male, Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputy conducted a traffic stop with the above listed suspect. Upon making contact with the driver he attempted to conceal his identity due to having his driver’s license suspended/revoked with an arrest clause. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: San Felipe Road (Airport Rd area) Santa Fe

Stolen: US Currency (amount pending)

Damaged: Front door, file cabinets, utility box

On this date an unknown male subject cut the power to the business at the above location then unlawfully entered the business by breaking the glass on the front door. Money was stolen from within the business the exact amount is pending at this time. The suspect fled the scene prior to deputy’s arrival.

0213006170 Larceny 5/3/13

Location: Sierra Place (La Cienega Area)

Stolen: 1 – white 55gal drum with scrap brass 1 – white 55gal drum with copper

On 5/3/13 two unknown male subjects were seen stealing two white 55gal drums filled with scrap copper and brass, from the victim’s front yard. Silver SUV was seen leaving the area and was possibly involved.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $1000.00

Location: Mile marker 2, State Road 76, Santa Cruz N.M.

Arrested: Lori Torres, 35-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 05-03-13 at about 11:00PM Deputies observed a gray in color Honda Civic parked partially on the roadway of State Road 76.  Upon contacting the driver, Lori Torres she showed signs of intoxication and admitted consuming alcoholic beverages prior to driving.  She submitted to a breath test, which showed her breath alcohol concentration to be above the legal limit.  She was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location:  residence off of San Pedro Way, Santa Fe, NM (Valle Vista Subdivision)

On 5/3/13 Deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny.  Victim stated that an ex-tenant was evicted from the residence.  Victim stated that the ex-tenant still had the keys to the residence and took 6 door locks, 9 light fixtures, 12 energy saving light bulbs, 2 closet panels, and 12 window shades.  Victim stated that the ex-tenant damaged the frame where the closet panels were.  Estimated value of items taken is $896.00.  Estimated damage amount is $100.00.

0231006154, False Imprisonment, Aggravated Assault against a Household Member, Battery against a Household Member, 5/3/13

Location: Tierra Blanca Rd.  Chupadero

Suspect: Steve Jimenez  Age: 36  Chupadero

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Tierra Blanca Rd. In Chupadero. Upon arrival they discovered that Steve Jimenez had Battered a household member with his hands, Refused to let the victim leave the residence, threatened the victim with a pair of scissors and damaged the victim's cell phone.  Victim suffered minor injury and Jimenez was arrested and booked.

0213006157 Death Investigation 05/03/2013

Location: Casa Rufina (Casa Rufina apts.) Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a death investigation. The victim (55 year old male) was found by CYFD Case worker unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics arrived on scene, and CPR was not conducted. There did not appear to any signs of foul play at the scene, and death appears to be of natural causes. This incident is currently under investigation the Sheriff’s Office.

Location:County Road85 @ Drive #421 (Pojoaque Area)

Arrested: Kevin Gomez 46 years old,Santa Fe NM

Deputy responded to the above location in reference to a Motor Vehicle Crash. Driver of suspect vehicle displayed signs of impairment. SFST’s were administered and driver displayed signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest for DWI and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.
