2022000921, Agg. DWI/Driving on revoked license/Stopping, standing and parking on roadway,2-14-2022

Arrested: Simon Coriz    47 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Deputy conducted a welfare check on above subject who was parked on the roadway.  A DWI investigation was conducted and subject showed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested and read the NM implied consent advisory. In addition, Subject had a revoked license with an arrest clause. Subject agreed to a chemical test and blew a .28, .28 g/210L.  Subject charged and booked accordingly.

Battery against a household member/ 2022000899/ 2/14/22

Suspect: Brandon Sweeney

 

On the above date the suspect damaged property and battered his spouse. The suspect was arrested.

2022000897, Battery against a HHM/ Criminal damage to household good/ ,2-13-2022

Arrested: Joseph Case  34 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, Battery against a police officer

Deputies responded to a domestic after the fact.  During the investigation, Deputies learned above subject began a verbal argument and damaged the interior of the vehicle.  In addition, above subject grabbed his wife's arm and pinched her causing bruising. While having the subject exit the unit, the subject bit a deputy on the left arm. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspect was incarcerated at the county jail and had an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was served, and he was booked. 

2022000888/Unlawful Taking MV/2-13-22

Suspect: Ovidio Hernandez-Garcia     Age:45

On Sunday February 13, 2022, the listed suspect stole the victims vehicle without her permission.  Suspect was later located at a hotel in Santa Fe in possession of the vehicle.  The suspect resisted arrest when he encountered deputies but was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was pulled over for a traffic violation. Signs of impairment were observed and the suspect was placed into custody. The suspect refused chemical testing.

Suspect: Unknown

On February 11, 2022 the victim reported a male attempted to remove a trailer from his property. The victim made contact with the suspect and stated he was repossessing the trailer. At that time the victim stated the trailer belonged to him. The suspect then fled the area in a maroon in color Ford Explorer, unknown license plate number. The victim described the suspect vehicle to be missing the passenger side front bumper. The suspect was described to be 5"10'', 250 pounds with tattoos on his face, neck and arms. There was no damage to the trailer.

Suspect: Cruz P. Salazar

On above date, deputy responded to a possible aggravated assault. A traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle. Deputy smelled a strong odor of an alcohol beverage coming from the driver of the vehicle. Driver of the vehicle admitted to consuming 2 shots, but refused testing. Driver was found to have a revoked DL and was booked accordingly.

 

No other crime took place.

 

Driver refused to perform any SFSTs, driver was arrested and booked.

Location: Avenida Del Sur/Richards Avenue Trailhead

Stolen: Two Catalytic Converters

On Thursday, February 10th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a larceny. Contact was made with the victim and they advised between 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm on 02-09-2022, unknown suspects cut off two catalytic converters from a vehicle. Suspect information is pending at this time.

2022000853 / Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle / 2-10-22

Location: Residence on El Sol Court, SFNM

Stolen: 1998 white Chevrolet single cab, 2 wheel drive truck.  20' wheels, stickers in back window, New Mexico license plate 310-SXL

On 2-10-22 between the hours of 12pm and 4pm the victims truck was stolen from a residence on El Sol Court.
