2022000794,Custodial interference,2-7-2022

Location: 35 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect: Shannon Ortiz 33 yoa Santa Fe, NM

Above subject violated the order of contempt on  a custody exchange.  An arrest warrant was drafted and approved by Judge David Segura for her arrest.

2022000774, Agg. DWI/Negligent use of a deadly weapon/2-6-2022

Assigned Deputy: Ronald Lopez

Commander: Sgt. M. Jaramillo

Location: I-25 MM 271

Arrested: Anthony Schmid  36 yoa, Albuquerque, NM

Charges: Open container/ Driving under the influence while intoxicated with a minor/unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a reckless driver. Contact was made with the above subject who was parked on the shoulder of the roadway.  The subject admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage and Deputy detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person. Also, a child was located inside the vehicle.  Above subject refused SFST's and was placed under arrest.  In addition, subject refused a chemical test.  Subject was booked at ADC accordingly.

2022000771, Agg. DWI/Impeding traffic,2-6-2022

Assigned Deputy: Ronald Lopez

Commander: Sgt. M. Jaramillo

Location: I-25 MM 278

Arrested: Santos Leon Pereira, 43 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to above location in reference to a reckless driver.  The vehicle was located impeding  traffic and a traffic stop was conducted.  During the traffic stop, driver showed signs of impairment.  The driver refused to submit to SFST's.  Subject was arrested and refused chemical testing.  Subject was booked at ADC accordingly.

2022000772,Driving while license revoked/No registration/No Insurance,2-6-2022

Assigned Deputy: J. Jaquez

Commander: Sgt. M. Jaramillo

Location: NM 106 and NM 76

Arrested: Joseph Archuleta  Espanola, NM

Traffic stop was conducted at the above location for no registration and insurance.  During the traffic stop, Deputy learned the above subject was driving on a revoked license with the arrest clause.  Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

2022000762/DWI/02-05-2022

Assigned Deputy: G. Nieto

Commander: Cpl. R. Girmendonk

Location: MM 179 US 84/285

Suspect: Santiago L. Garcia

Traffic stop was conducted on above vehicle for speeding. SFST's were administered, signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested. Breath test revealed a 0.13-0.13. Subject was transported and booked accordingly. 

2022000761/Unattended death/02-05-2022

Assigned Deputy: V. Baca

Commander: Cpl. R. Girmendonk

Location: Leaping Powder Road, Santa Fe County, NM

Victim: Hector Rodriguez Gonzales

Deputies were dispatched to the above mentioned address in reference to a male not breathing and not conscious. Medics confirmed the individual was deceased and this was confirmed by OMI. A large amount of drugs were located inside the residence and the victim had a small bag containing a white, powdery substance. OMI determined cause of death to be an overdose. Victim was transported to a funeral home and to the Office of the Medical Examiner for further investigation.

2022000738 / Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon / 2-4-22

Location: Agua Fria Street and Del Ross Lane

Arrested: Francisco Ibarra-Lopez, 34-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 2-4-22 Mr. Ibarra-Lopez was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of another vehicle.  During the incident Mr. Ibarra-Lopez pointed a rifle at the other driver.  He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly. 

2022000745 / Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle / 2-4-22

Deputy assigned: J. Lujan

Location: Job site of NM 344 in the Cedar Grove area of Santa Fe County

Stolen: 2018 Caterpillar 299D Skid Steer, yellow in color

Sometime between February 2nd and February 4th someone stole the above listed Skid Steer from a job site of NM 344. 

 

2022000717/Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/02-03-2022

Location: 131 Peaks Place, Santa Fe County, NM

Suspect: Unknown

Deputies responded to above mentioned address due to a complaint of a stolen vehicle. Victim advised that she attempted to warm up the car before usage and the car was stolen within a 5 to 10 minute time frame.

Location Verano Loop

Subject: 76 YO Male

On the above date deputies were dispatched to an address near the above location. Life saving measures were unsuccessful on the male subject. No foul play is suspected the case is still under investigation.
