Victim reported unknown suspect(s) gained entry into his vehicle and stole a customized 1911 handgun. Case is under investigation.

2022000362,Burglary/Larceny/Criminal damage to proeprty,1-18-2022

Stolen: >22 caliber rifle, black leather jacket, turquoise jacket and U.S. currency

victim reported sometime between 1-17-2002 and 1-18-2022, unknown suspects gained forced entry into their vehicle at the above location and stole the above mentioned items. Case is under investigation.

2022000330 / Robbery, Aggravated Battery, Unlawfull Taking of a Motor Vehicle / 1-17-22

Location: US 84/285 and Boneyard Road, north Santa Fe County

Stolen: 2014 gold Chevrolet Impala bearing New Mexico license plate ASRP26

On 1-17-22 at approximately 5:30pm the victim parked his vehicle near the bridge on Boneyard Road to use the bathroom.  He was approached by 2 males wearing all black clothing.  They pepper sprayed him and physically attacked him.  One of the suspects stabbed the victim in the leg with a knife.  The suspects stole the victim's 2014 gold Chevrolet Impala and fled the area.  This case is under further investigation.

LOCATION: US 84-285 SB ON-RAMP 176

CHARGE: AGG. DWI

ARRESTEE: BRANDENBURG, JUAN ALLEN-32- YEAR OLD, W/M, RESIDENT OF OHKAY OWINGEH, NM.

On 1-16-22 at about 11:28 p.m., Cpl. Cullison located a motor vehicle parked just off the on-ramp on the grassy embankment headed towards the roadway of US 84-285. The vehicle was occupied by Juan Allen Brandenburg, who was showing signs of impairment as he was found slumped over at the wheel.

Deputy Rodriguez conducted a DWI investigation, which yielded an arrest of Brandenburg. Brandenburg was placed into custody and read the NM Implied Consent Advisor, which he agreed to a chemical test. Upon administering the chemical test, Brandenburg's results were 0.16g/210L and 0.16g/210L.

Brandenburg was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.   

 

2022000309/Battery Against a Household Member/01-15-2022

Arrested: Sarah Madrid, 27 YOF

On Saturday, January 15th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies conducted an investigation. That investigation determined the above subject had battered a household member. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, she was booked without incident.

2022000319/Aggravated DWI/01-16-2022

Location: 18300 U.S. 84/285, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Luis Trujillo, 63 YOM

On Sunday, January 16th, 2022, deputies were patrolling the above area when they observed a driver who appeared to be slumped over the steering wheel. Deputies made contact made with driver and he displayed signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and he declined to provide a breath sample. The driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

2022000312/ CRIMINAL TRESPASS

LOCATION: 30 BUFFALO THUNDER TRAIL- CASINO

CHARGE: CRIMINAL TRESPASS

ARRESTEE: JEFFERSON, LAQUITA - 48- YEAR OLD, B/F, RESIDENT OF ALBUQUERQUE, NM.

VICTIM: BUFFALO THUNDER CASINO/ PUEBLO OF POJOAQUE

On 1-16-2022, RECC dispatched deputies to the casino in reference to a female, whom had been previously trespassed from the property. Deputy Rodriguez conducted an investigation and found LaQuita Jefferson was still on the property and had previously been trespassed. LaQuita Jefferson was arrested on the charge of criminal trespass and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect was located attempting to have her vehicle towed. A registration check showed her to have an active warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody and booked at the county jail

2022000311/ BATTERY AGAINST A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER

ARRESTEE: TORRES LA REAL, GILBERTO ANTONIO-29 YEAR OLD H/M RESIDENT OF CHESTERFIELD, MI. 

CHARGES: BATTERY AGAINST A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER

On 1-16-2022, RECC dispatched deputies to the hotel at 30 Buffalo Thunder Trail in reference to a domestic. During the course of the investigation, Deputy Pool determined Gilberto Antonio Torres La Real was the aggressor towards his boyfriend during a arguement; which turned physical. Gilberto was arrested without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
