Deputies responded to serve an active arrest warrant. The subject actively resisted and was taken into custody after using less than lethal force options. He was booked. 

2021008277,Possession of a controlled substance,11-5-2021

Arrested: Crystal Holguin 34 yoa, Hernandez, NM

Deputy responded to above location in reference to above subject found in possession of a white powdery substance to wit cocaine by correction officers.  Subject was charged and re-booked accordingly.

Suspect: Jorge Soto 46 Santa Fe NM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and it was discovered the driver had an active warrant for his arrest from the Santa Fe Municipal Court. He was arrested and booked. 

2021008262 / Burglary, Larceny / 11-4-21

Location: Residence on North San Mateo Way, Valle Vista Subdivision

Stolen: gaming systems and a backpack

On 11-4-21 between 1:00pm and 6:00pm someone entered the victim's home through an unlocked door and stole 2 gaming systems and a backpack. 

2021008233/Revoked Drivers License/11/4/21

Assigned Deputy: P.Ficke

Location: Hwy 502 and Elks Trail

Suspect: Jose Morales-Ignacio

On the above date the suspects vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. It was learned through an MVD check that the driver's license was revoked with the arrest clause attached. The suspect was arrested and booked into ADC without incident

2021008232/ Unattended Death

On Thursday, November 4, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, a deceased 37 year old female was found inside her residence. No signs of foul play were found, as OMI was requested to the scene. OMI took over the investigation at this time.  

2021008231/DWI, CARELESS DRIVING, OPEN CONTAINER, NO DRIVER'S LICENSE UPON DEMAND

Location: US 84-285 MM 171 Santa Fe, NM 87506

Suspect: MECHE- LOPEZ, JAIRO, 34- YOM, Santa Fe, NM

On Thursday, November 4, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a single vehicle roll-over at the above location. Upon arrival, deputies located the male driver adjacent to the vehicle with a minor laceration. The male, Jairo showed signs of impairment, along with admitting to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to crashing his vehicle. Jairo was found to show impairment during SFSTs. Jairo was arrested and submitted to a chemical test; which later yielded the findings of 0.15g/210L and 0/14g/210L respectfully. Jairo was booked into jail without incident.

Suspect: Manuel Guitierrez, 41 YOM, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to male that was in his vehicle and it appeared that he was sleeping. Upon arrival, deputies located the male in a vehicle with the engine running, the male attempted to conceal his identity, and later fled on foot. Deputies detained the male and began a DWI investigation. It was learned the male was intoxicated and was operating a motor vehicle. The male indicated that he attempted to flee due to him having an active arrest warrant. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Victim: 78 YOf, Santa Fe, NM

On Tuesday, November 11th, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a not conscious and not breathing female. Upon arrival, Medical staff attempted to revive the female, who displayed no signs of life. OMI responded to the scene to begin an investigation. During the investigation, no signs of foul play were noted by deputies or OMI.

Suspect: Unknown

Deputies were dispatched to the above named location in reference to an auto burglary. Several items were taken, to include cash and credit cards, 2 cell phones and one I Pad. The investigation is ongoing.
