2021007251/Receiving or Transferring a Stolen Motor Vehicle-Larceny-Trespassing/09-19-2021

Arrested: Cole Salazar, 19 YOM, Chamita, NM

On Sunday, September 19th, 2021 deputies responded to the above area in reference to disorderly conduct. Upon arrival, it was determined that the above suspect had trespassed onto a property and was in the process of stealing some tires. It was also discovered that the above suspect had arrived to the location in a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been stolen out of Rio Arriba County earlier in the day. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Suspect: Pending investigation

Victim indicated that he left U.S Currency in his room that he rented at the resort. When he returned later in the day it was missing. The crime occurred sometime between 5:00pm and 12:00am on September 18,2021.

Victim was contacted by a person indicating that he was with Bank of America Fraud department, The person persuaded the male to send them 7,000 dollars in gift cards and he was defrauded. Case is under investigation.

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. Suspect battered a deputy and fled on foot and was apprehended. Suspect was in possession of narcotics.

Suspect was  called in as a reckless driver and stopped for a traffic violation. Signs of impairment were observed and the suspect was placed under arrest. She was arrested and booked.

Suspect: Jessica Gayles 33 Santa Fe NM

Suspect was stopped by Tesuque Tribal Police and not a tribal member. There signs of impairment and the sheriffs office took over the investigation. She was arrested and booked. She provided one breath sample of .16

Suspect was stopped for speeding by Tesuque Tribal. Suspect was non-tribal and Deputies responded and took over the investigation. Suspect had a revoked license due to a previous DUI and was booked. 

2021007222/ Trafficking by possession with the intent to distribution

SUSPECT/ ARRESTEE: ZACHARIAH RAMSEY- 48 YEAR OLD- W/M- SANTA FE, NM

CRIME: FTA- FAILURE TO APPEAR ON COURT DATE (POSS. OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE)

On 9-17-21 at about 11:55 pm, Cpl. Cullison came a cross a male sitting in a car. This male was found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the course of the tow inventory a bag containing several different drugs and packaging material. The amount of narcotics and packaging material was more than personal use. Ramsey was  booked Ramsey into the SFC Adult Detention Center without incident.
