2021007032, Agg. assault X3, 9-8-2021

Arrested Antonio Perea 21 yoa , Santa Fe, NM

Additional charges:  Criminal damage to property X2, Abuse of a child, Battery against a HHM, Assault, Criminal damage to HHM, DWI, battery, violation of a TRO,

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to the above subject damaging two vehicles on the property.  He then struck with his vehicle another vehicle several times that was occupied by 3 individuals.  Subject then battered his ex-girlfriend along with another male individual and assaulted a male individual at the scene.  Deputies apprehended the  male subject who admitted to operating the motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor.  Subject was read the NM implied consent advisory act and agreed to submit a breath best.  Subject blew a .15, .15 Brac and was booked accordingly.

Victim reported sometime on today's date between 1pm and 4:30pm, unknown suspects stole his 2005 Chevy Silverado from the parking lot at the above location. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported sometime between July 29, 2021 and September 6, 2021, unknown suspect(s) stole above mention items from inside her residence. Let it be noted, there were no signs of force entry to the residence. Case is under investigation.

2021007000, Poessession of a controlled substance,9-7-2021

Deputies dispatched to above location to assist NM Adult Probation and Parole on a narcotic violation.  Above subject was found in possession  of a white powdery substance.  Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspect was involved in a road rage with the victim and brandished a firearm.

2021006964/Aggravated Burglary/09-06-2021

On Monday, September 6th 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was found an unknown suspect entered the victim's residence and battered him. The suspect then fled the area. This case remains under investigation.

Arrested: Armando Romero, 37 YOM, Santa Fe, NM

On Saturday, September 4th 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a reckless driver. The Pueblo of Pojoaque Police Department had issued a BOLO on a Polaris Razor that they had attempted to pull over previously. Deputies located the Polaris in the median and contact was made with the above driver. He showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. He was transported to Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked without incident.

Arrested: Hagen Peterson, Los Lunas, NM

On Sunday, September 5th, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a reckless driver call. A citizen reported a vehicle traveling southbound at a high rate of speed. Deputies located the vehicle traveling over 100 mph. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the above individual. The driver displayed signs of impairment and he refused to submit to chemical testing. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

2021006959/Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/9/6/21

Location: 84/285 Mile Marker 172

Deputies were dispatched to the area for an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. It was learned that the suspect stole the recreational vehicle from the shoulder of the roadway. The victim left it there due to mechanical issues. When he returned he noticed it missing. Case is under investigation. 

2021006948 / Motor Vehicle Crash (Fatality), warrant service / 9-5-21

Location: State Road 599 and Interstate 25 (Exit 276)

Arrested: Andres Lira-Hernandez, 52-year-old male from Albuquerque N.M.

Victims: 39-year-old male and 28-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.

On 9/5/2021 at approximately 4:55pm a 2020 Hyundai occupied by a male driver and female passenger took the I-25 northbound off ramp to State Road 599 (Exit 276). They came to a stop at the red light waiting to turn left/north onto State Road 599. Once the light turned green they began proceeding through the intersection when they were struck on the driver's side by a 2011 Chevrolet truck. The driver of the truck was traveling south on State Road 599 and failed to stop for the red light. The driver and passenger of the Hyundai both died as a result of injuries sustained at the time of the crash. The driver of the truck, Andres Lira-Hernandez was not injured. He had 3 active warrants for his arrest. He was booked into SFADC on the warrants. Further charges are pending at this time.
