Deceased; 86 year old female

Deputies responded to above location in reference to a death investigation.  During the investigation, it was learned the deceased expired due to medical health issues.  There were no signs of foul play.

Case#2021006833 Auto Burglary 09-01

Victim reported he had parked contracting truck on the side of the road the previous evening. When he arrived on the morning on 9-1-21, he found the truck window had been broken and battery stolen. Investigation is ongoing.

Arrested:Carlos Arrellano 32 yoa male (Espanola)

Subject was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have a revoked driver's license due to a prior DWI arrest. Subject was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to a possible DWI where the drivers vehicle was stuck and required a tow. Signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested. He refused a breath test and search warrant for his blood was drafted and served as it was his 4th or subsequent DWI. He was booked

On Monday, August 30th, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an after the fact burglary. Contact was made with the victim and they advised around 2:00 am on 08-30-2021, unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into the business and stole the above item. This case remains under investigation.
