Suspect: Mark Garcia, 34-year-olld male from Truchas New Mexcio
On 07/10/2011 the above suspect arrived at the victim's home asking to borrow money. When told no, suspect stated he had a gun and was going to kill the victims and their family. A physical fight ensued between the victim and the suspect. The suspect was taken to the ground and held until Police arrived. Further investigation revealed the suspect did have a gun in his possession at the time of the altercation. Also located on the suspect at the time of arrest was a pill bottle with suspected Marijuana. The suspect was arrested on the above charges and transported to the Santa Fe County Jail after being treated for injuries at the Espanola Hospital.

Victim reported between the hours of 1:30pm and 4:30pm on 07/10/2011 unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle and stole the above listed items.

Items damaged: Side window and back window of vehicle. Value of $700.00
Victim reported sometime between 11:00pm on 07/06/2011 and 5:00am on 07/07/2011 unknown suspect entered the victim's vehicle and stole the car stereo. On 07/10/2011 unknown suspect broke the passenger window and side window of the victim's vehicle sometime after 12:30am. Victim belives both incidents are related.

Victim reported on 07/10/2011 while she was attending the 12:30pm mass someone entered her vehicle and stole her purse. Victim stated her doors were locked and there were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

ARRESTED: JOSE CORTEZ-CHRISTIAN, 22 YOA MALE SANTA FE AREA
CHARGES: AGGRAVATED DWI - CARELESS DRIVING - DRIVER TO BE LICENSE
ON THIS DATE SUSPECT WAS OBSERVED DRIVING HIS VEHICLE OUT INTO A FIELD. DEPUTY CHECKED ON SUSPECT AND FOUND HIM TO BE INTOXICATED. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON THE ABOVE LISTED CHARGES AND TAKEN TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE WHERE HIS RESULTS WERE .24 BrAC. SUSPECT WAS BOOKED INTO THE ADULT DETENTION AND HIS VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

Items stolen: $40 to $50 in change and a power drill. Value of $70 to $80.
Items damaged: Door lock valued at $10.
On 07/09/2011 the victim reported that on 07/08/2011 between the hours of 9:00am and 7:00pm unknown suspect entered their home by damaging the door lock. Once inside they stole the above listed items.

Victim reported she was out of town from June 24th to July 3rd. On June 26th her real estate agent held an open house at her residence. When she returned from her vacation she found someone had stole her jewelry. The investigation is ongoing.

Victim reported on 07/08/2011 during the day time hours someone entered their residence by force through a window and stole the above listed items. Evidence was collected and the invetsigation is ongoing.

Victim stated on June 28th 2011, someone stole his wallet from inside his residence. Victim provided possible suspect information of a person he allowed inside the residence on that date. The investigation is ongoing.
