Location: Nancy's Trail (Los Pinos Road)

Taken/Damaged: 42" flat screen TV, Broken rear window

Victim reported that sometime between 0915-1730hrs this date an unknown person(s) gained forced entry through a rear window.  Once inside the residence the above TV was taken.  Case is under investigation. 

0211007041, Battery upon a household member, 05-21-2011

Location: Mine Shaft Tavern (Madrid, NM)

Suspect: Arrested: Timothy Torres 40yoa male, Rio Rancho, NM

Deputies responded to a call for service at the Mine Shaft Tavern.  Suspect listed above got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend while attending a function at the Tavern.  During the argument the suspect pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the victim in the leg once.  Suspect arrested without incident and booked into ADC. 

0211007026 Death Investigation 5/21/2011

Location: San Pedro Lane (Edgewood NM area)

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (77 year old male) was found unresponsive by a friend who he was visiting from out of town, after not feeling well and taking a nap. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be of natural causes.
 

0211007008, DWI, Careless Driving, No Seat Belt, 5-21-2011

Location: West Frontage Road, (Mutt Nelson road area) Santa Fe New Mexico

Arrested: Tasha Garcia, Age:28, Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the above location.  Above driver was  traveling north and veered onto the south bound shoulder and lost control of her vehicle.  The vehicle rolled over and ejected the driver.  Driver was transported to St. Vincents hospital due to life threatening injuries sustained during the crash.  Driver was found to be impaired and a chemical blood draw was administered to determine her blood alcohol content. Driver was released at the hospital due to her injuries and will be summoned to court.    

0211007004. Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon, 5-21-2011

Location: West Gutierrez (Pojoaque Area)

Arrested: Jimmy Cambell, Age:51, Alcalde New Mexico

Deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at the above location.  Victim stated an argument ensued with the above listed suspect.  The suspect then brandished a pocket knife and led the victim to believe he was going to be stabbed.  The victim was not stabbed.  The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Stolen: Check book

Victim reported that between April 22nd 2011 and May 19th 2011 someone unlawfully cashed $12,844.24 by a person named Matt Gomez from the victims account located at the Los Alamos National Bank. This case is pending further investigation.

Arrested: Eric Luna-Arbiso

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle for an expired registration.  Deputy made contact with above listed suspect/driver and observed signs of impairment.  Deputy conducted several tests and determined above suspect was impaired.  Deputy placed above suspect under arrest and booked him accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location: State Road 599/Interstate 25  Santa Fe New Mexico

Arrested: David Zeiler, Age:62, Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputy observed a motor vehicle fail to maintain lanes.  Deputy conducted a traffic stop and contacted the above listed suspect/driver.  Deputy observed signs of impairment and attempted to conduct tests but was unable to do so.  Above listed suspect was placed under arrest and transported to St. Vincents Hospital where he submitted to a blood draw.  Above suspect was also found to be in possession of several Hydrocodone pills.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle for driving through a red light.  Deputy made contact with the above listed suspect/driver and observed signs of impairment.  Deputy conducted several tests and determined suspect was impaired and arrested the above listed suspect.  Suspect was transported and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Stolen: 15" laptop (Imac), 20" laptop (Imac), makita reciprocating saw, $70 in cash

Victim reported that between 0815-0940am an unknown person(s) gained entry through an unlocked door.  once inside the suspect(s) stole the above items and fled the area.  Case is under investigation.
