Victim reports while parked at the Santa Fe Ski Basin his catalytic converter was removed from his 1996 Toyota pick-up.  Case is under investigation.

0211001253, Aggravated Assault, 1/27/11

Location: Cerro Circle   Lamy

Suspect: pending

Deputy met with victim 3 days after incident occured.  Victim wished to report a motor vehicle crash but it was learned that other vehicle involved was driven by victim's brother who was allegedly ramming victim's vehicle after an argument at occured.  Case is under investigation.

0211001298 / Aggravated DWI / 01-27-2011

Location: State Road 502 / State Road 30   San Ildelefonso, NM

Arrested: Teresa Jansen    Age:50   Los Alamos,NM

The listed driver was involved in a single vehicle crash at the listed location. Contact was made with driver and after sobriety tests were given, she was found to be impaired. Driver was then arrested and transported to jail after refusing chemical testing.

Stolen: colorful Indian duffel bag; w/ knitting items, journal, 5 CD's, playing cards, perscription glasses

Victim reported that on this date between 12:22pm and 1:43pm some unknown person entered victim’s vehicle by breaking the passenger side window and stole the above listed items while victim was hiking.
The items stolen were valued at about $1115.00

Victim reported on this date sometime between 8:00am and 12:30pm some unknown person unlawfully entered his residence through the west window and stole the above listed items.
The above listed item was valued at about $6800.00

Victim reported that on this date between 3:15pm and 3:30pm some unknown person entered victim’s vehicle by breaking the passenger side window and stole the above listed items while victim was skiing.
The items stolen were valued at about $275.00
 

0211001285 Death Investigation

Location: Angel Peak (Rancho Viejo area)

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (73 year old Male) passed away at the above residence. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was. There were no signs of foul play located at the scene; death appears to be of natural causes.
 

0211001248 / Driving while license is suspended/revoked / 01-27-2011

Location: Old Las Vegas Highway

Arrested: Eric Martinez  Age: 43  Santa Fe,NM

Deputies initiated a traffic stop with the listed vehicle and contatced the driver. Upon speaking with the driver, a drivers license check was conducted and he was found to be driviing a vehicle while his license was revoked arrest pursuant. The driver's vehicle was then seized in accordance to Santa Fe County vehicle seizure ordinance.

0211001188 / Shooting at an occupied dwelling / 01-26-2011

Location: Chalon Road (Santa Fe)

Suspect: Pending

Victim reported that early in the AM hours they heard numerous gun shots.  Victim heard a vehicle flee the area shortly after-wards.  Victim checked the outside of the residence and found that their wall and mailbox were damaged.  Case is under investigation.

Stolen: Chinese Jian Samurai sward

On This date victim reported that on 11/23/10 at about 2:00am some unknown person unlawfully entered the temple and stole the above listed item. It is unknown at this time how entry was made into the temple.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $20,000.00
