Location: I-25 @ St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe NM (Santa Fe area)

Arrested: Chantell Tenorio 31years old, Santa Fe County 

On this date Deputy conducted a traffic stop at the above location and the above listed person had a revoked driver’s license with the arrest clause. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

0210-10966/ Breaking and entering/ Battery Arrest/11-22-10

Location: Camino Cerrado (Pojoaque Terrace MHP)

Suspect: Jose Rodriguez    age 29

Charges: Breaking and entering, Battery on a household member

Suspect gained forced entry into his ex-girlfriends home. Once inside the suspect threw the victim to the ground and began to strangle her. Victim was able to dial 911. Victim had visible injuries. Suspect was arrested and booked.

Location: Riverside Dr. and Riverside Loop

Suspect: Oton Arzaga  age 37

Charges: Driving under the influence of intoxicating Liquor or drugs (4Th or subsequent) , Driving while license is suspended or revoked, Open container

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation . During the traffic stop it was determined that he was under the influence . Suspect was given field sobriety tests at which time he showed signs of intoxication. Suspect was arrested and refused to submit to a chemical test. A warrant was obtained for a blood draw. The suspect was booked and his vehicle was impounded pending seizure.

Location: Area of Monte Alto Lane (Eldorado)

Charges: Pending

Suspect(S) gained forced entry into a residence in the above area. Suspects ransacked the residence and took a Panasonic Digital camera and $100.00 cash. A description of other items missing is pending. The case is under investigation. Value of the items taken is $300.00.

Victim reported that unknown persons attempted to gain entry into her home through a window. The screen was damaged, but no entry was made.

Arrested: Matthew Cordova DOB: 5/22/90
Charges: Battery Upon a Peace Officer

The above subject is incarcerated at the Detention Center on unrelated charges. Subject was caught passing items between cells. Subject was yelling a Correctional Officers and approached Correction Officer in aggressive manner. The subject struck the Correctional Officer with a closed fist on forehead.

Location: McDonalds restaurant, Calle Lucia

No Suspect Information, as case still under investigation

Victim reported that unknown person in a Maroon SUV, became involved in an argument with them over moving a vehicle. The suspect then proceed to deliberately ram his vehicle into the victims, causing moderate damage to the Victims vehicle The suspect then sped out of the parking lot onto Airport Road.. No persons were injured.

Victim reported that unknown persons broke into her home through the front door, with a pry tool. Once inside the above items were stolen. Victim stated that this was done during the day of November 20, 2010.

Case# 0210010867 Motor Vehicle Crash (Fatality)

Location:  Old Las Vegas Hwy, 50 feet southeast of Driveway 787 (Mile Marker 7)

                  Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Black/Silver, 2005, Jeep, Wrangler

Driver:  Richard Benally, 38, Santa Fe, NM

Passenger:  Female, 38, Santa Fe, NM

On November 21, 2010 at 12:17 AM the driver was operating the vehicle northwest at the location.  For reason(s) unknown the driver lost control of the vehicle and allowed it to leave the roadway on the left side.  The vehicle went down a dirt embankment and rolled over  1 1/4 times.  The driver was ejected and it is unknown at this time if the passenger was ejected.  Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seat belts.  Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.  The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.  The passenger was admitted to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
