Arrested: Jessica Frye age: 29

Charges: Aggravated Battery Upon a Health Care Worker

Victim who is a registered nurse was struck by suspect while giving out medication in the medical unit of the Jail. Victim suffered a baseball bump on the left side of the temple area of her head. Victim was taken to the hospital by a co-worker. Suspect was moved to another area of the medical unit. Suspect was charged accordingly.

Victim reports home entered through upstairs window and water turned on as well as 2 dead rodents left in bathroom.  Case is under investigation

Case#: 0210010038/ Driving license is suspended/revoked, Equipment violation/ Date: 11/3/10

Location:  I-25 mm 268, Santa Fe, NM (Waldo Canyon exit)

Suspect:  Brett Andrews, age 32, Rio Rancho, NM

Charged:  Driving while license suspended/revoked, Equipment violation

On 11/3/10 suspect was operating a white and black in color Ford Crown Victoria which had a headlamp out.  A traffic stop was conducted with the vehicle during which time it was found that the suspect had a revoked driver's license.  Suspect was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  Vehicle was seized.

Case#: 0210010032/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date: 11/03/10

Deputy assigned:  Deputy Stephanie Champlin

Location:  200 block of La Puebla Road, Espanola, NM (off of Santa Fe County Road 88)

On 11/3/10 victim stated that between 0800 and 1815 hours, unknown suspects gained entry into her residence through an unlocked side door which was secured by glue in the inside.  Victim stated that once inside unknown suspects removed an electric fireplace from inside the livingroom.  Estimated value of the fireplace is $450.00.

On 11-02-10 the victim reported that an unknown person(s) entered her place of business between 11-01-10 at 6:30pm and 11-02-10 at 8:30am. Suspet(S) gained entry by breaking the window on the side door. Once inside the business the above items were taken. Suspect information is pending.

0210009922/ Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/ 11-02-10

Deputy Assigned: G. Lovato

Location: Carlson Court- Santa Fe

Stolen: 1995 Nissan Altima bearing NM KNF217 silver in color

On 11-02-10 the victim  started the above vehicle to warm it up at about 5:15am. He returned inside his residence leaving his vehicle unlocked. Upon exiting his residence he noticed that his vehicle was gone. No suspects have been identified at this time. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.

Case# 0210009977 Aggravated DWI

Vehicle:  White, 2000, Ford, F-250, Pick-up

Suspect:  Rita Encinias, 48, Santa Fe, NM

Chjarged:  Aggravated DWI, Speeding (40/25), Roadways Laned for Traffic,

                   Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility

On November 2, 2010 at 9:03 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location at 40 miles per hour in a posted 25 mile per hour zone.  The suspect was also unable to maiintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  The suspect was unable to produce valid proof of insurance upon request.

0210009969 Resiting an Officer 11/2/10

Location: Mountain Rd

Arrested: Louis Romero DOB: 2/26/63 Charges: (2 counts) Resisting an Officer

The above subject was being served a restraining Order and refused service. He grabbed the Order crumbled it and tried to tear it. The subject then fought Deputy Coles and Lt. Garcia, who tried to arrest subject. Subject was taken into custody after brief struggle.

On October 27, 2010 between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM person(s) unknown gained entry to a shed at a residence at the location by forcing open the door.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed a Maaco Welder.

Case# 0210009915 Aggravated Assault

Location:  Calle Carla, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Male Juvenile, 16, Santa Fe, NM

On November 1, 2010 at 10:31 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical  when the suspect armed himself with a steak knife and pressed it against the victim's neck.  The suspect also threatened to kill the victim.  The victim sustained no injuries as a result of this incident.
