0210009907 Burglary 11/1/10

Location: Sunset Canyon Lane (Off State Road 14)

Stolen: Misc. Jewelry, including rings and bracelets, valued at $7,000.

No Suspect Information

Victim reported that she broke into her residence through her rear sliding window. The rear sliding window was broken out to gain entry. The above items were stolen and no suspects were located.
 

0210009898 Larceny

Location: Apache Road (Turquoise Trail area)

Stolen: Golden opal ring rimmed with cut diamonds

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a larceny that took place sometime between 10/14/2010 and this date. Upon arrival it was determined that the above item was stolen from the bathroom counter. The victim gave the above suspect information but requested that the suspect not be contacted.
The above listed items stolen were valued at about $3000.00
 

Case# 0210009872 Aggravated DWI

Location:  3300 Block Calle Maria Luisa, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  White, 2000, Toyota, Pick-up

Suspect:  Owen D. Cooke, 26, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Marijuana

On November 1, 2010 at 12:28 AM the suspect was observed urinating in the roadway at the location.  The suspect then operated the vehicle north at the location.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater.  The suspect was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana.

0210009808 Aggravated Assault

Location: US Hwy 84/285 near Pojoaque (Pojoaque area)

On this date Deputy were dispatched to the area in reference to a Black Honda Accord possibly flashing a gun and knife at another vehicle. The suspect was located on NM599 and a traffic stop was conducted and a consented search of the vehicle reviled negative results for any weapons.
 

0210009750 Posession of Controlled Substance

Location: Airport Rd @ La Carrera (Airport Rd area)

Arrested: Ruben Torres-Sanchez age 43, Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputy conducted a traffic stop with the above suspect. The suspect was found to have an active bench warrant and was arrested. During the impound inventory of the vehicle two small plastic bags with a white powdery substance was found in the vehicle. The substance was field tested which yielded a positive result for the presence of cocaine.
The suspect booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.
 

0210009813 Aggravated Battery

Location: Santa Fe Place Mall (Santa Fe area)

On this at about 5:45pm Deputies responded to an address off Rufina St in reference to a Battery. Deputies were advised that the victim was involved in a fight it the parking lot of the above location. Victim could not identify his assailants but stated they were Native Americans wanting his bicycle. Victim sustained swelling and bruising to his face and was transported to the hospital.
 

0210009806 Shoplifting

Location: 6421 Airport Road (Auto Zone) (Airport Rd area)

Stolen: 5 - Tanner Select car chamois, value $99.94

Arrested: Larry Sandoval age51, Santa Fe NM

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a shoplifter being detained by staff. Upon arrival it was determined that the suspect had left the store setting off the merchandise alarm. Employee's then confronted the suspect outside the store and found him to be concealing the items above beneath his shirt. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.

 

0210009803 Death Investigation

Location: 6000 block Airport Rd (County Club MHP area)

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (87 year old male) passed away at the above residence. It was determined that the victim passed of natural causes; there were no signs of foul play located at the scene. The victim had an extensive medical history.
 

Case# 0210009774 Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member

Location:  W. Cochiti (North Fork), Santa Fe, NM

Suspect::  Diana Zamora, 24, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member, Arrest Oder - Probation

                  and Parole

On 10-20-2010 at 1:15 AM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect cut the victim on the hand with a kitchen knife.  The victim was treated at the scene.  A check revealed that the suspect had an active Arrest Order issued by Probation and Parole.

Stolen: 47” flat screen TV

Victim reported on this date sometime between 12:00pm and 4:00pm some unknown person unlawfully entered his residence through an unlocked bedroom window and stole the above listed items.
The above listed item was valued at about $3500.00
